I do like it, and I can appreciate the slow pace to an extent given the very large size of most of the update pages, and the artwork and style does give it more of the feeling of an "epic" style story, rather than the smaller, self-contained yet all-fit-together style stories of Gunnerkrigg. I can't believe it is his full-time thing though, you can't make a living off 1 page every 1-2 months surely! You can if you make a huge Kickstarter and spend most of your time on maintaining your blogs, going to cons, and selling bonus art and commissions. |
