[732]Huh. Zimmyville gets weirder. Wait, so why is Annie tired again? Were they traveling for a long time or did Gamma just tire her out?

Wait, what...?
Jack isn't "zimmyfied" anymore?
And what's up in the last row? Did Gamma just go over there or was Gamma in reality Zimmy (and vice versa) all along?
Did anybody see that coming?

Gamma, Jack, and Annie are probably either all nobodies or all real. It'd be pretty dumb to have three of the four people be nobodies, so... yeah, it's not really likely that they're all nobodies.
Well, I guess Gamma could be Zimmy, and Annie could be a nobody, or vice versa, or something like that... but if any of them are Gamma or Annie, there'd be plopping going on.

Jack is a memory or something, Gamma said. So, it's probably him before he had the spider.
I think Gamma just went over there, because the comic's being told from Gamma+Annie's point of view at the moment (meaning presumed Gamma+Annie, not necessarily actual Gamma+Annie). In panel 2, Zimmy and Jack are clearly seen far away, so that means there are four people. Gamma didn't turn into Zimmy and switch back or anything, Zimmy was there all along.
"Will they disappear if you touch them too?" = Zimmy can plop people? Zimmy can't plop people in real life, what's up with that? Did she gain powers, or is she Gamma/Annie in disguise?
Starting to look like I was wrong and Annie really was Zimmy. Curse ye, Thomas! A pox on your bus stop!
Gamma seems genuine though.
Zimmy's hair is three inches longer than normal. This is twice the standard deviation of 1.5 inches for Zimmy's hair taken over the life of the comic. Therefore, this only has a 5% chance of happening; Zimmy is clearly Boxbot in disguise.

Aaarrrgh, my head is going to explode. Okay, quick observations. 1.) Zimmy's hair is about the same length as Annie's, so perhaps that's Annie. 2.) If it's really Annie who has been sitting with Jack, then her etheric sensitivity would certainly allow her to tell that he is really a "memory of someone" and not a "nobody" person. 3.) I would guess that perhaps it is Jack's spirit, stuck in Zimmingham while his body is in the real world being animated by the spider. Which means that Jack has been trapped there the whole time. Ugh!!! 4.) Annie saw someone get plopped, so she could have learned that intuitively. She's a quick learner, and she knows that "it's only as real as you let it be." 5.) I don't know why peoples' appearances are changing. Perhaps that's Zimmy going nuts because the power station hasn't been shut down, or because the room may have started out as a simulation courtesy of Jones (who is not a robot) but then started becoming the real Zimmingham when Zimmy's powers started affecting reality. Perhaps that is Jones and another observer in the window here? 6.) What am I doing up this late? I'm going to bed. See you all tomorrow. Er, later today.

I would argue that Annie is still--as always--Annie. Jack is probably really Jack, and Zimmy MIGHT be Zimmy. More likely, it's the real Gamma, as Zimmy has no 'GOPPing' abilities. That said, Annie's the only one I think we can be 100% certain about. Also, did Zimmy-maybe-Gamma just disappear after yelling at Annie and decepto-Gamma to NOT do what decepto-Gamma's doing? Where'd she go? On the subject of spiders: Tom, my arachnid colleagues have just notified me that they are seriously considering suing you for publishing barely veiled, slanderous online representations of their kind, indirectly resulting in the deaths of innumerable innocent spiders. 'Why,' they ask, 'could he not have had Jack possessed by a spectral fly or mosquito?' Their message: 'Change your ways, or we'll bite you 'neath your nickers.' They've even got the jumping spiders up in arms, and they're usually quite mellow, in regards to humans. I wouldn't call their bluff, Tom.

I wonder if jack can hear Gamma's thoughts.
I bet Zimmy thinks Jack is Annie.
They need to sort out who thinks who's who.

I'm under the impression that Zimmy and Gamma traded places somehow. Lets list the signs:
1) When Annie trails Zimmy, she finds Gamma right around the corner. 2) Annie gets Zimmingham fatigue from being next to "Gamma". 3) Sure, there are bags under her eyes, but this "Gamma" is behaviorally showing absolutely no signs of fatigue, even as Annie's stamina gets destroyed. 4) "Gamma" seems to be getting it wrong here when she's describing Jack as a nobody. 5) Zimmy isn't able to make people disappear by touching last time, but now "Zimmy" somehow is able to. 6) When Gamma touches a nobody, they disappear, but "Gamma" just touched a Jack she asserted was fake. 7) Jack has lost zimmingham fatigue. The only ones who have special powers for removing Zimmingham thus far appear to be Annie and Gamma. If Jack was with Gamma in disguise as "Zimmy", that explains why he's returned to normal.

My wild and crazy ideas:
Zimmy thought she was Annie at the white page. Gamma is Gamma, Zimmy is Annie, Jack is like Kat from the first trip to Weirdopolis. Annie (as Zimmy) doesn't know that like she didn't back then, so he hasn't exploded, if she eve touched him. Don't know why he didn't *poof* when Gamma touched him.
All I've really got to go on is that Annie can't speak telepathically to Gamma, but that's my hunch.

Starting to look like I was wrong and Annie really was Zimmy. Curse ye, Thomas! A pox on your bus stop! Heh, and now I'm starting to doubt it. I guess the Zimmy we are seeing could be Annie, which makes some sense. Jack doesn't seem to be able to "hear" Gamma, which slightly supports the Gamma can only speak telepathically to Zimmy theory, but he's apparently not real, so that doesn't really mean much. Also "No, don't come any closer!" sounds a bit refined for Zimmy, but that's probably just a matter of opinion. We only get one one panel with "Zimmy" in it, so not much to work on with Zimmy is Annie theory. At this point, I'm really not sure though, so will just have to wait and see.

Yet another theory:
"Gamma" is Jack (or a construct made by Jack). Jack is pretending to be Gamma in an effort to lure Zimmy off the edge of the roof, causing her to fall to her death. He can easily do this because he can fly.
However, Jack (or his construct) was confused by the fact that Annie, not Zimmy, was the first to enter, and is now luring the wrong person.
All the other people appearing here are psychically created garbage and are completely irrelevant.

My theory:
Annie is Annie, but is beginning to think that she is actually Zimmy, and as such is looking Zimmified. Zimmy is also actually Zimmy, but thinks that she is Annie, and Zimmingham has been allowing to GOP nobodies to reinforce this delusion, possibly for some nefarious purpose. Gamma is a nobody, to reinforce the delusion that Annie is actually Zimmy (to keep her from interfering, perhaps?). Finally, and this is the craziest idea, Jack is really Jack from ch. 19, as time works differently in Zimmingham.
Whatever happened to Jack back in ch. 19 is about to be seen here, as the spider has machinated all of this in order to get itself a vessel out of Birmingham, presumably because, like Tom says, it is a bad place to live.

Annie (as Zimmy) doesn't know that like she didn't back then, so he hasn't exploded, if she eve touched him. Don't know why he didn't *poof* when Gamma touched him. ^ This ^ As to Gamma gopping nobodies, maybe she does that intentionally (or can choose not to do this), not automatically. With Annie it pretty much just happened, but Gamma is better than her at this kind of thing, so she might have more control. And in this case she decided it would be better to, hmm, analyse "Jack" instead of just gopping him right ahead. And maybe "don't come any closer" was "don't come any closer and gop my precious interrogation subject", because Annie (who we see as Zimmy) doesn't know about that. I particularly like the analogy between Jack and Kat-nobody from the first visit to Zimmingham. It seems pretty natural now that Kat-nobody would be Annie's memory, something she summoned. I wonder who is remembering Jack, then... unless it's a memory created when real Jack was there for the first time and walking around since then.

Why is everyone so certain that Annie is Annie? It's entirely possible that she's actually Zimmy and looks like Annie only because they are in Zimmingham and she forgot herself. The question then is, how much of this and the previous chapter was Annie (if any) and how much was Zimmy in her nightmare world thinking she was Annie?

My turn to guess: Both Gamma and Zimmy are fakes, and all of this is taking place in a piece of Zimmingham that Jack unintentionally took with him when he left. 'Course, that doesn't explain why Jack looks normal again. Or maybe it does. Hmm. Oh, and this is my first post in this forum. Hello, all.

Just because Jack said "you" doesn't mean Zimmy can plop people, he could be talking generally (can't recall what's it called in English right now, but it's like he said "will they disappear if one touches them?")
