[708]Annie has had quite enough with the breaking things. You know, she's pretty good at this. If they were to team up, I'm betting they'd be pretty unbeatable at this infiltration business.

OH MY GOD THE POWER STATION'S SECURITY IS SO INCAPABLE To be fair, it's hard to calibrate a security system to counter a calm yet plucky red-headed teenage girl who can open the door with her ethereal telekinesis powers. Also, there's no little snippet of wit from Tom today, so I predict SERIOUSNESS.

Any speculations of what the control room contains?
Also, Annie needs to take a chill pill. First robots and now doors? What other inanimate objects will she feel sympathy for next?

Controls, presumably.
Maybe a leftover cup of coffee.
And donuts.
Yeah.
And I really wouldn't classify Guard-bot under 'Inanimate objects'. He's more of a 'Non-biological Sentient Being'.

Well isn't that just all the amazing power you need? Not really, but it's a good start.
And I agree "excellent" is as always treading on the boarder to an evil genius.

Jack seems rather satisfied with himself in the last panel.

This is quite possibly the most serious security we've ever seen in the court.
Also: either Annie's been learning from Kat, or her knowledge of locks isn't restricted to tumblers and cams.

Also, Annie needs to take a chill pill. First robots and now doors? What other inanimate objects will she feel sympathy for next? Well, considering other options than a violent approach doesn't have anything to do with sympathy, but common sense. Especially if those options turn out to be quicker, easier, less noisy, and less likely to get yourself hurt int he process. And sympathy or not, it's generally not considered a decent thing to do, to run around randomly destroying anything that comes into your way. Sure, they are already trespassing and what not, so they might just as well go the whole nine yards and add vandalism to the list (ignoring what Jack already did with the guardbot). What's next, are they gonna set the whole place on fire when they're done there, just because, heck why not? ;p

This is all rather mystifying presently.... I'll have to wait to come to a good conclusion about it.

OH MY GOD THE POWER STATION'S SECURITY IS SO INCAPABLE Complacency on the part of the Court? They might have assumed that nobody was going to be sneaking about in it in the middle of the night because of the lake surrounding the power station serving as an adequate defence. (It's probably no worse than the motion detectors in the dorms that the children can hack into.)

"an rfid"? rfid is pronounced "riffid". I suppose you could say "are eff eye dee" but I've never heard anyone actually do that.

...And yet that's the only way I've ever heard anyone pronounce it. "Are eff eye dee", I mean. Perhaps it's a regional thing.
By the way, Tom, parallels with modern-day Britain much? You Brits have that kind of crap all over the place, not that it ever seems to do you any good.

I was kinda hoping Reynardine could show more of his traditional lockpicking abilities. Still, this works too, and actually makes better sense. Jack picked the right partner for this excursion, that's for sure. How many infiltration teams have a girl that can walk through walls?

Oh sweet it took me a little bit to actually understand what was going on in this page (with the whole reaching through walls things) but that is so cool! Nice work, Annie.

Christ. He's going to blow up the power station. (Or try. And probably succeed.) Jack picked the right partner for this excursion, that's for sure. How many infiltration teams have a girl that can walk through walls? Two, at least.

Christ. He's going to blow up the power station. (Or try. And probably succeed.) That might be what he's doing, maybe he thinks if he blows up the power station whatever is plaguing him will stop. Also Coyote must be real happy to know how Annie's using her newly discovered power. He does love some good mischief.

OH MY GOD THE POWER STATION'S SECURITY IS SO INCAPABLE Is it supposed to be any better there? What for? Also, Annie needs to take a chill pill. First robots and now doors? What other inanimate objects will she feel sympathy for next? Bad style is a valid cause for some dressing-down. He of all people should do better than "Jack rrripp SMASH!" Maybe a leftover cup of coffee. Any bets on what leftover coffee half-year or more old may do to an ether-spider? And I really wouldn't classify Guard-bot under 'Inanimate objects'. He's more of ..."animated objects"?
