Peekin' at some suspicious-looking guys. [edit] Eight suspicious guys, looks like. [/edit] hmm, with 8+Eggs+Court, we are still missing 2 peeps to account for everyone that went in. Eggs+Court are at least looking in on Parley & Rey & morpho-thingy-peep (whoever that is), so maybe we aren't seeing the whole Cvet+Forest team here. Its possible that the whole group is now (almost) reunited (if they were ever truly separated!) And since the Parley+Rey team (definitely) and the Cvet+Forest team (probably) have both seen and understood that not all monsters are what they seem, perhaps the main group wont attack Eggs+Court as they approach.

The Wisp's illusion abilities may be limited. They can distort space, change appearances, but there is no evidence (yet) that they have created completely illusionary moving beings.... its more like they have only changed the appearance of beings which already existed (team members).

I'd say everybody who isn't Eggs and Court is probably down there. Possibly including some of the red shirts.
My cookie bet: Four main big guys = Cvet, Parley, Forest, Rey (not necessarily in that order). The rest of the monsters look like just faceless masses.
I don't know if it's significant or not that all of them are facing away from the entrance of the building cave, but it seems odd. Are they watching the Eggs and Court monsters?
I think we're close to the Scooby Doo villain denouement.

Probably just some monsters standing in line for burritos.

I'm still thinking there's an imposter in the mix. Either that, or one of the red shirts was able to wrestle with Parley and survive.

Or those are completely unrelated folk, while Parley and company are a little farther. They seem to move away without looking back, after all.

Admittedly, none of those fuglies look quite like the green monster we saw with Parley earlier. However, the green monster might have evolved again. Or, the wisps are deliberately making Eggs and Court see something different from the rest, to prevent them from sharing information and figuring out what's going on. Each page appears to be presenting us with what the main characters on each page are seeing/ believing they are seeing, much like with the ROTD.

Either Tom is adjusting the update time so he can actually be awake to deal with technical problems and comments etc or it's a technical issue?

Initially I thought that Tom is adjusting the update time, as usual in fall/spring, but now I am starting to panic a little. *shrieks internally*

The comic has always updated at midnight local Pacific time. I'm starting to become concerned too. Technical problems can happen, but also Tom is not reacting on Twitter.

Yes, usually it was only about an hour of difference (in my place it updates around 9AM) and lack of Tom's reaction is something that worries me.

Tom isn't reacting on twitter because its ~6:30am in New York right now, patience.

Well, guided by UTC, update comes always at 8:00 or 9:00 UTC, so ~3,5 hours ago. But, if Tom is still asleep, that might indeed explain no reaction to any technical issues with auto-publishing.

If his twitter is on pacific time to match the comic then 3:30am would be about now? Guess we'll have to wait and see either way.

I prefer to believe that Mr. Siddell is recovering from an extended-weekend holiday bender and the comic will update sometime after he has rested and rehydrated. Fun Fact: If Proboards refuses to load the forum sometimes if you immediately go to the main page and search "Gunnerkrigg" you get zero results.

I just don't know of anyone, able to go toe-to-toe with Parley, besides Eggs. Either someone's not who they appear to be, or when the illusion fades, there will a bloody disheveled redshirt, trying not to cry.
