The fact that there's sewers/drains down below the bunker suggests to me the bunker was more of an air raid shelter and less of a bunker. And there's a blue creature.

In which Fan and Courtney* get a chance to see behind the scenery, perhaps?
* Detective agency.

Now let's see... Not sure if some of the creature's distorted in this depiction because of motion or magic but we've got bilateral symmetry, jointed limbs, teeth, eyes, probably no wings but probably gills... (starts browsing through arthropods extinct and living)
[edit]But before I lose myself in that for a while I'll mention that we can see the root which MicroLoup sprang forth from.[/edit]
[edit2] Teeth look like a general predator and the mouth is surrounded with plates; maybe there's only one kind of teeth but not sure. Can't see where those limbs attach but I'm going to tentatively say they're forcipules and not jack knife chelicerae, and only one pair of those. Looks like no antenna but with all the uncertainty I will probably have to wait for the next update to either identify it or declare it fictional.[/edit2]

Problem is, they are already [wet], so they get weakness to water and lightning (or was that final fantasy? I never really played pokemon). They are fire creatures themselves, so they could remove [wet] with [fire]. Unless that just makes them [wet] and [burning] at the same time...

That's one bad ass looking monkfish-type monster creeping up. Fortunately there's an escape door nearby, if they can fend it off first.
*Moltres, I choose you!* - pick the one with Overheat as charged attack and they should be fine.

(starts browsing through arthropods extinct and living) [edit]But before I lose myself in that for a while I'll mention that we can see the root which MicroLoup sprang forth from.[/edit] That thing seems to be made out of water, I somehow don't think you will find it. That is very possible. But I will have fun trying. Two closing thoughts before I hang it up for the night. 1. It's possible that this thing is a juvenile. A bunch of creatures have odd stages. I don't think we can tell how big it really is right now. 2. If it's carnivorous (and going by the teeth it's either carnivorous, omnivorous, or a scavenger) then that could explain why it's attacking. The creatures of the Wood (green folk included) are all part of the food chain and now that these creatures are in the Court, so are the humans of the Court. If it is smart enough to understand targeting someone "Loup" is communicating with isn't a good idea, it may be too hungry to care. The twins may be the only potential food to wander by these sewers/drains in a good while. Not sure about that. I think Courtnie's eyeshadow may be coming off in the last panel. That's one bad ass looking monkfish-type monster creeping up. The wide-spaced eyes do remind me of a monkfish or devilfish (and the mouth to a lesser extent) but it's got scales or bony plates around the mouth and there's no tendrils in the center of the head. And then there's the limb things.

If we don't see a Smooth Criminal joke being mentioned by one of their friends before this split shenanigan is over (if ever) I'll be disappointed. Especially at Rey

Uh-oh! Water pokemon have an advantage over fire-types! Annie could be in trouble here It's not like Annie's fire can't ignore the laws of physics to a degree (haha, fire, degree I'm on fire). If the cows couldn't detect anything I would interpret that as Annie being able to make fire that doesn't burn anything. Burning water doesn't seem like too much of a stretch from that point.

That's one bad ass looking monkfish-type monster creeping up. Fortunately there's an escape door nearby, if they can fend it off first. It seems to combine the general appearance of a monkfish: monkfish.tiff (222.08 KB) with the armored head-shield of a Paleozoic placoderm (similar to glyphomatrix' idea): placoderm.tiff (466.71 KB) but the front "fins" seem to be tipped with something akin to a scorpion's sting... scorpion.tiff (616.7 KB) Annies better watch out for those. If like a monkfish, they are related to anglerfish and can suck things into their mouths with great force. If like a placoderm, they'll be difficult to combat head-on due to the heavy armor... best to attack from the rear, behind the head-shield. Headshield may also make it a bit front-heavy and a bit slow. Maybe!

Um, that's like a 40 ft. drop. They were lucky to survive that even if they fell into water which looks fairly shallow. Since they are basicly ok that critter isn't going to be a problem.

The laws of video games state that as long as you land in any amount of water, you can fall from any height and all fall damage is instantly negated. What do you mean, "this isn't a video game"? We're making enough video game references in this thread to count.
