I knew we'd see Coyote again but I figured it'd be later. Unless "Loup" suffered a major breakdown or something. Oops. Tail's wrong. That's "Loup."

... well, he said the shields would not hold him back.
He did not mention that he likes to wake up in flowers his roots sprout underground though. That would have been exposition dump, and that was more of Coyotes thing.

I knew we'd see Coyote again but I figured it'd be later. Unless "Loup" suffered a major breakdown or something. Its not Coyote though. The Wolf body with the coyote style head is Loup. Coyote is "all weird color swimming all over the place" for his whole body - unless he takes on the form of something. If Tom lets Coyote be reborn like this, but lets him be shapeshifted to look like Loup, he just just pulling our strings
I was half expecting Coyote to sprout, but checked back to see his exact likeness.

What's going to happen if Loup makes the Annie all her friends have known for the last 6 months vanish into thin air and only the "Imposter" Forest!Annie is left?
Who's going to believe her when she tells them what happened? All to force her back to the forest for his own amusement.

What's going to happen if Loup makes the Annie all her friends have known for the last 6 months vanish into thin air and only the "Imposter" Forest!Annie is left? He may wind up doing something like that eventually but I think the threat of it would be a better motivator than actually doing it. Next week's menu: a double-serving of self-aggrandizement, followed by some veiled threats mixed in with sugary syrup.

Plant might be modelled after Saussurea obvallata (for obvious reason). e: Perhaps the uniform green colour and glow occur for the same reason as with Diego's arrow, but can't know.

You know what would be very cruel and terribly Loup-y? Telling them who's the Original Annie and who's the Copy...

Anyone noticed how Urban Annie and Sylvan Annie has now shadows in distinguishable colours?

Oh noes, I really don't want to see him right now. We already skipped having some resolution for Annie and her friends, and now we're going to skip having some resolution between Antwinomies. And how the duck goose did Annies' friends just so conveniently make it possible for her to meet Loup by herselves? Did they read the script? Did Loup write it? Was all of Gunnerkrigg Court just an elaborate pun on "Se jeter dans la gueule du loup"? (litteraly "to throw yourself in the wolf's mouth", quite transparently the same meaning as "to put your head in the lion's mouth") Edit: Anyone noticed how Urban Annie and Sylvan Annie has now shadows in distinguishable colours? Wow, Sylvan Annie, I like it! Now they can be Courtnie and Sylvie.

Also wonder whether Loup is purposefully imitating the sleeping Rey pose in the bottom left corner there...

My guess* is that Loup can continuously see through Courtney's eyes and sees this as an excellent opportunity to have a quiet word with Sylvie again. Probably put some pressure on her to get those artefacts back in a polite but clearly threatening way. Wouldn't be surprised if he emphasizes his point by hurting one or two of her friends upstairs.
*it should be noted that in every guessing contest I have ever participated in, I always ended last.

By The Way: I assume this is not what Kat et al had planned; he's just showing up now because this is the first time that the Antimonies have been alone (when at home with Anthony before Courtnie left they weren't alone enough since he was within earshot).

Also wonder whether Loup is purposefully imitating the sleeping Rey pose in the bottom left corner there... He's not actually yawning either is he? It's either just for show because he's playing a role, or a way to signify that he thinks Annies' fight is boring.

I remember someone suggesting that this entire bunker might be a virtual reality scenario, like one of Randy Disaster's. This page probably makes that an impossibility, since only Fannie knows what Loup looks like.

You know what would be very cruel and terribly Loup-y? Telling them who's the Original Annie and who's the Copy... " Well, my dear contraptions, have any of you obtained the items yet? If you have not, I will be forced to erase you both and create ANOTHER two copies off the Annie I held hostage on the Forest... "

If Loup *does* display impatience on Annie's progress, she ought to tell him, "You should have thought of that before you duplicated me and got everyone so busy pondering the 'two of me' element that they barely addressed your demand."

I remember someone suggesting that this entire bunker might be a virtual reality scenario, like one of Randy Disaster's. This page probably makes that an impossibility, since only Fannie knows what Loup looks like. I did, but might have not been the first. And yes I agree with you. Not that I wouldn't put it past Coyote to just hop in such a simulation by just not understanding he's not supposed to be able to, but 1) this is Loup who doesn't have Coyote subtlety (Coyote subtle, Ha Ha Ha, best joke) with his powers, 2) I certainly wouldn't expect him to be barge in unnoticed.Although Loup has been flying over the Court, so they could have videos of him? I hope it's not that though, a test to see which of the two Annies is loyal to Loup, whether it was a decision of her friends, or imposed by the Court (which I doubt, seeing how lightly Parley took it). Not that I would like to see Loup just meld the Antwinomies back together either. Before we knew the intent was to leave them alone, I also suggested that it might be a trip to a listening-free zone where Parley would also bring Annies' friends to talk about the blade, which is the one thing they have over Loup. I sure hope it doesn't get mentioned now. That's either a contradiction of what Courtnie said a few pages ago, or proof that there's no such thing as being Loup-proof. The former would beg the question "What the Hat are they thinking about?", the latter would beg "Why doesn't he just grab the goose water already?". Can't wait for monday to bring more answers! questions.

Well, this can't end well. I think a flooding escape-room would have been preferable. However, Loup may have realized that the "two Annie" problem is distracting from his need for Coyote's "artifacts", and has come to "help" with the Annies' team building. Insane god escape-room? Probably not what Kat had in mind, but might still be unifying.

Aaand now Loup will quickly solve the problem of two Annies by introducing a _third_ one. Imagine Parley's face when she comes to pick them up.

Of course, if Loup really wanted to cause trouble, how about merging the two Annies and then disguising himself as the other Annie? There'd be exactly the number of Annies everyone now expects, they've already thoroughly tested that both Annies are real so there's no reason to check again, and if actual-Annie spoke up there's a good chance everyone would think she's nuts.
