Got my eye on you. Can't help but immediately have the Drake song stuck in my head. Ugh. Also, nice digs, Kat. Wonder if this is so she can work out of her house.

What is Paz's deal, I wonder?

Even the Court has spooky abandoned farmhouses. What is Paz's deal, I wonder? She's always been really possessive. It probably is as simple as being afraid she'll lose more of Kat's focus since Kat is the type who wouldn't let any friend down and would feel the need to devote extra time and effort towards both Annies. Especially as she doesn't extend that stare to C!Annie. Edit: Something has to have happened besides a second Annie, unless daily life under forest pressure really is that stressful? I got nothin else. Also: C!Annie has exposed forearms, so that might shoot down the Loup binding theory, unless it's somewhere else like the upper arm or ankle.

I love pages without dialogue. Makes you focus much more on the setting.
Regarding the stand-off situation: we really need Zimmy to settle things here, don't we?

Speaking of setting, where the heck are they? Have we seen this place before? Beautiful place, regardless.

What symbol is on Kat's t-shirt? Is that a T-Rex tooth maybe?

So does the Court have associated farmland too? Clearly we've reached the edge of the City-Court here...

So they finally bought the farm, eh.
Looking at panel 5 in isolation, Paz just looks self-conscious, not threatening.

"Got my eye on you."
Who has whose eye on whom? I see a lot of eyes and a lot of eyeing/eying going on here.

Looking at panel 5 in isolation, Paz just looks self-conscious, not threatening. If not for the comment at the bottom of the page I would've assumed Paz was making that face because she recently threatened someone who was either a dangerous shape-shifter or someone who could strangle her remotely like Darth Vader. Or light her up like Charlie from Firestarter.

So they finally bought the farm, eh. I'd never heard that expression until John Prine happened to me, couple of years back. If she had looked like this: yeah, but now she clearly looks at someone. And of course had she looked like this: Just run.

This is sort of starting to feel like a Doctor Who episode but with less horror..?

Anyone else feel like it's kind of a weird expression if she is trying to intimidate Annie. The expression looks more like the face you would pull behind someone's back if you were worried about them, i.e. she is worried about Kat rather than Annie.

Yeah I agree, that is definitely how I read that. It's seems like Paz is trying to communicate something like "please don't hurt Kat because I care about her". I love the permanent twilight going on in these pages. I feel like in the time it would take them to travel out to what seems like a more rural area it would get darker but it's still that gradient of pink, purple, and blue. It kinda reminds me of the Gunnerkrigg Court comic logo, though the comic logo had more red at the bottom.

Courtnie's pose really makes me hate her. The crossed arms and side-on look just screams "I've already judged you, harshly".
...maybe it's just me...

I'm interpreting Paz's expression in its context as, "Are you paying attention? It's Kat. Look at us. I have a relationship with Kat. Remember those things I said to you earlier. You will do nothing to make Kat upset or consequences." It's more than a little condescending but I think it's fairly clear. And she looks nothing at all like Creepy Suzie.

Sorry, I don't get Paz's eyes. This I would understand: but not the actual bugedibuggedi eyes Or, is something else there that none expected, ...like Tony there?

Calling it right now: there's something (or maybe someone) else in the room, opposite where Kat and Courtney are standing. That's what the two of them are looking at in panel 3, and it's what startles Paz in panel 5 and Frannie in panel 6.
(I would love it if it were Zimmy, but Kat's too relaxed for that. I bet it's something Kat created, which she's going to use to test the Annies.)

Picking nits here, but is anyone else mildly irked by the length of Kat's shirt? It looks longer in panel 3 than panel 4.

Perhaps the "Abbey Road" crossing a few pages back was intentional because panel 5 is now giving me a serious John/Yoko vibe.
Edit: Minus the bug eyes.

Sorry, I don't get Paz's eyes. This I would understand: but not the actual bugedibuggedi eyes Or, is something else there that none expected, ...like Tony there? The bug-eyed look is one I’ve seen A LOT in my lifetime, it’s the “remember the very critical thing we talked about that we’re keeping discreet” look. I’ve seen it used for subjects that are unsuited for polite company (“Remember we need to get insert-embarrassing-medical-thing-here on the way home), to avoid verbalizing an embarrassing subject (see last subject), or, yes, for threats you’re keeping from a third party (“I don’t care if you’re her boyfriend, you bring cocaine into my house again and you’re getting an ass kicking”). It’s kind of shocking so many people are nitpicking this.

Literally the first image of Yoko on my search: The bug-eyed look is one I’ve seen A LOT in my lifetime, it’s the “remember the very critical thing we talked about that we’re keeping discreet” look. The whites of the eyes convey subconscious truths. And if I remember correctly, deliberately displaying a large amount of the whites of the eyes (particularly above the iris) is a signal that things might get bananas so watch out.
