Great. So Coyote will seem innocent and uninvolved in the resulting rage fit that is going to happen.

I guess this is the thread we're using. FYI, I think the title is supposed to be dialogue from the comic?
Anyway, I'm going to remain irrationally optimistic and predict that Coyote has finally achieved his goal of steering Ysengrin onto a path of peace and level-headed negotiation with his human lessers. Surely, he wouldn't give a creature so historically prone to violence this much power if he ever thought it would be used against the Court, right?

"My MORAL strength. Hold on, I'm sure I had it here somewhere." FYI, I think the title is supposed to be dialogue from the comic? Dialogue from the comic; if none, a sound effect or similar; if none, Tom's comment; if none, a characterization or summary of content.

What is Coyote's strength though? Does Ys assume its his ability to manipulate the physical? What does Coyote himself consider his 'strength'?
Curveball incoming?

A significant development. With Coyote's strength, if Ysengrin becomes angry with Annie again, she probably won't stand a chance, even if Eggers gives her another stick thing.
Also, with his immense strength, Coyote divided the forest and the court. Ysengrin could probably undivide it again if he wanted.

I'm reminded of that part where Annie talks to Ys about how he flipped out big time on her, and Ys being like "I don't remember that." And then the two of them just kinda being like "... Coyote."
So if Coyote just dumps all of Ys' stolen memories into his head, it might not be a fun time for Ys but I suspect he'll be pretty keenly aware of what just happened.

It's good to have rules, but you should write them down, preferably in a prominent sticky thread called "How to create a new page thread". Otherwise it makes it hard for new players to join the game. I've been reading this forum for literal years, and I was unaware of that hierarchy.

Aline is right. I've seen page threads created by newb members and nobody commented on them because they weren't named in a way that fit the pattern; but the newbs didn't know there was a pattern. I've noticed the pattern (been reading the forums for years before I created an account) but I can see how other members might miss it.

Y's face is all like, "Nani???"
Probably because he thinks Coyote won't ACTUALLY give him his strength. You know, being a trickster and all. Ysengrin knows full well it will be something else.
I don't think Ysengrin knows Coyote will give his memories back, though. At least, that's what I think he'll do.

With his new strength, Ysengrin will go to finally destroy that guardian ghost at the river...maybe.
I wonder whether Coyote will take the power over the trees back then?

I've been reading this forum for literal years, and I was unaware of that hierarchy. It's not an explicit RULE, and I break it sometimes when making a page thread if I think Tom's text represents the theme better, etc. Still, it is a formatting thing that's not super visible to new members. ...also, we can't sticky threads, since Tom and GK are sorta distant IIRC.

Note that he's blaming Annie. No, mind-screwing has NOTHING to do with this whatsoever. It's only Annie. Never mind what happens when Coyote lets him off the leash. If something goes wrong? Bad Annie for not controlling Ys. Annie is brought closer and closer to the Forest. How can she leave and abandon him when the possible destruction could be great? And of course, none of the blame will be set on Coyote...

559. Even if the Ranger offers his sword, the elf his bow and the dwarf his axe, my gnome can't offer his accordion. A significant development. With Coyote's strength, if Ysengrin becomes angry with Annie again, she probably won't stand a chance, even if Eggers gives her another stick thing. How so? Cause more collateral damage, sure.

Note that he's blaming Annie. Or framing Annie? What can she say now? "Oh, Coyote, I don't think that's a good idea!?" Coyote is trying to cause a rift between Annie and Ys. Again.

With Coyote's strength, if Ysengrin becomes angry with Annie again, she probably won't stand a chance, even if Eggers gives her another stick thing. How so? Cause more collateral damage, sure. Because the first time Ysengrin attacked her, he came close to killing her. That was just with his own strength. With Coyote's strength, I don't imagine he will get any easier to run away from or beat in a fight. "Strength" is vague - it can mean many things. Having Coyote's strength could mean Ysengrin could run faster, so Annie can't flee. It could mean he can physically cause more damage, so that a page like this wouldn't necessarily end with Annie jumping harmlessly off the tree. Even more significantly, Coyote's strength is beyond massive - he was able to gouge a huge river into the earth just with his claws. If Ysengrin is able to do that, and goes into another rage towards Annie, she would not survive.
