Echoes and reflections of Diego. Hopefully not as tragic? Interesting that robots can consider themselves kids. Lots of interesting potential material there, about the robot life cycle.

Forget Robot, Arthur has been a scoundrel for far longer. PAPERCLIP HIM!

This is not the love story I expected, but it is the one I needed.

What an adorable small girl. She's as cute as Puppy Renard. Thanks, Tom, for drawing her so heart-meltingly.
I've also been that cude pudgy little girl who turned down a boy and stayed friends with him for years until the day we discovered a spark between us at last. We were too immature to hold it together longer than a year, but we were very serious during that time. Coincidentally, this was the friend who transitioned, that I mentioned before. We're still friends and I wish her very well.

"All my friends were doing it" Diego really programmed them to love. Juliette and Arthur may not be the only couple

RobEo and Juliette! Fixed it for ya... Or we're supposed to say "Ro-B-o". And that's why Tom draws his avatars handless: his robsona is Ennesby. * * The mystery is solved!

It's amazing, Tom probably thought of that joke years ago back when he named Juliette. And he just holds onto it until the right time.
Well played!

He said they were programmed to love her.
He obviously forgot to say her, specifically

This makes me wonder about the process of creating a new robot. What all does it entail? If there is an Etheric spark, how does it come about originally? Very curious. At least, Robokind can preplan their growth spurts, and adjust their work areas accordingly.

We can glean some important info from this page. 1. Robots grow like humans / are given taller bodies as they age? 2. Depending on how old Juliette is (I'm going to throw out a blind guess of around 35), we can surmise that the Court hasn't updated their uniforms in at least 30 years. (Although we already knew that from Ties.) Which is just egregious. I now want to see a chapter where the Court rolls out a uniform update and everyone collectively loses their minds. 2.5. From this page, you could hypothesize that Juliette, from the ages of approximately 5-10, didn't change her clothes. (She's wearing the same outfit at both ages.) That's not very hygienic. 3. Robots in the Court aren't replaced for decades. Their bodies are, but the personalities/CPUs are kept the same. Arthur is probably at least as old as Juliette, so let's say he's 35 also. Either the Court robots are extremely durable, or the Court is just stingy and cheap. Or very green-minded, depending on how you look at it. 4. Juliette hasn't always worn glasses. What dramatic, secret event occurred that made her need corrective eyewear?! 5. Robots all write love letters the same way: with a small heart on the front. Is that a robot thing? 6. Robots are associated with flowers? (As previously seen here.)

Yup--and with this background, his interest in Robot's message on that page suddenly makes a lot of sense. Of course Arthur would want to understand humans better, in order to understand Juliette better. Maybe that's even the main reason why he wants a body from Kat: because Robot said having a body would help him understand humans better.

He was earlier here as well. Also, it seems that Robot is speaking mostly to younger (more impressionable?) robots.. I always thought Robot was just a tad taller, but this new page suggests that smaller robots are indeed younger robots.

Chapter 56 makes a lot more sense now, Arthur saw Shadow and Robot together, and I thought the key part was shadow being discovered by the court, I did not think that the knowledge that the hybrid robot arm could feel skin and give touch intimacy would be of bigger importance to the viewer.
It also calls into question the interaction in Chapter 28 when Jones shows up and then Arthur and Juliet take control of the station.
I wonder if Jones showed up because she was alerted by those two, who then just happened to be qualified to run the ether machine.
Seems like Jones has her own side in the Court.
It also makes me wonder about the robots bringing Kat Diego's designs in Chapter 29. Have they been waiting for Kat? And by they I mean more than just the robots, has Jones been waiting for Kat, for Annie? Seriously getting a stronger and stronger Ender's game vibe from how the robots and Jones look at Kat and Annie.

I wonder if Jones showed up because she was alerted by those two, who then just happened to be qualified to run the ether machine. It was always unclear how Jones suddenly appeared at the power station, maybe she came with the lovebirds. Of course this doesn't mean Jones is aware of the relation between Arthur and Juliette, but it wouldn't surprise me. Until now she always suggested she was working for the court, without being part of it. She withheld her knowledge of Shadow's existence from the court (but also from these two), and probably the same is true for the things Annie has told her (Questions about Jeanne, Coyote's secret). It looks like she has her own agenda, probably driven by curiosity.
