Coyote seems like he'd have trouble with corpsing.

Of course LordCoyote gets the update thread. I'd expect nothing less from a dead goose in a bush next to a lake
[edit] Also, we've been bamboozled. The bone in the chapter image is from a bird, that's why everyone had so much trouble identifying it. Specifically the...upper...wing bit.

...Okay, Coyote. I'll bite. But why a goose, dear?

Coyote seems like he'd have trouble with corpsing. Coyote is experienced in the corpsing department and known to be a pretty lousy actor. Quality post 10/10

I feel like this story includes "AND THEN I IMPERSONATED THE PSYCHOPOMPS LAUGHING ON LINE" at some point.

A Coyote in hand is worth... a Coyote disguised as a dead goose in a bush next to a lake?

Gorgeous art. The tangle of branches looks 3D in a way my *camera* fails to capture.

I prefer the alternative reading of this, which is that Coyote disguised himself as the goose *and* the bush *and* the lake.

The question is, did he disguise himself in order to spy on some top secret goings-on, or just for some good old-fashioned fun? It's probably the former. But if it's the latter, I hope he's spying on Squirrel. I want to see what disgusting taboo thing Squirrel was doing in his tree.
Edit: Oh yeah, and of course I also want to know where Bear's wife is at. I wonder if she might be with Squirrel in his tree. Hubba hubba.

What I like most about Coyote story time is his subtlety, nuance, and tact.

Was becoming a dead goose at the side of a lake part of your plan?

The dead goose in a bush by a lake might be supposed to look vaguely like Ysengrin from afar.
The woodwork surrounding Coyote's narration might resemble the growth of the Seed Bismuth, and incorporates the Sun (which Coyote has assumed.in at least one of the treatises, and which is always found on the Forest side).

I know it doesn't actually state the bird is petrified but I'm getting Lake Natron vibes from this.
