For once... exactly as predicted! It's interesting how emaciated he looks...and similar to Fire!Annie. I wonder if the kinship there is anything more than symbolic.

The real question is, has he become a psycho rageghost like Jeanne?

Green man is a water elemental? Hmm... could be tricky.

The real question is, has he become a psycho rageghost like Jeanne? Honestly, I doubt it. I'm guessing he is aware of nothing after his soul's imprisonment, and he's trapped. In other words, it's possible that he's gone mad with the isolation, but I feel like one psycho rageghost is enough.

The real question is, has he become a psycho rageghost like Jeanne? That was my first thought too, but I decided no - he's just trapped, and will address Annie like she's trapped too. We'll see on Friday!

...he's just trapped, and will address Annie like she's trapped too. You know, it's possible she IS going to be trapped. That would be bad. Very, very bad. I wonder if the Green Man was being used as a power source for the Arrow. If so, perhaps it will start siphoning off Annie's elemental's power.

As a side note, the art on here is wonderful. This has become my new favorite page.

...he's just trapped, and will address Annie like she's trapped too. I was actually kinda hoping to see Annie be able to fully cut loose with her fire power, but I think you are probably right.

O: ! Are the two of them in a room?? the background looks as if they are surrounded by walls. If so, I hope that there's a couple panels spent on it's detailing, it must look amazing. Also, it looks like it hurt quite a bit when Annie fell down. From the look on her face, she seems to have a couple regrets. Hope the pain is annulled/dampened in the ether!

Those martial arts lessons have not been lost on Annie's astral projection: chin raised to the sternum, arms free, back rounded, spine not orthogonal to her fall (her left shoulder is raised higher). Judging by her legs and how she lies prostrate at the end rather than supine, she may even be performing a backward roll (not even for the first time in this comic). but I feel like one psycho rageghost is enough. By contrast, I like my comics full of psycho rageghosts. I absolutely cannot get enough of them. On a different note, I enjoy Kill Six Billion Demons, but cannot quite pin down why that is the case.

More of an aquamarine man, I'd say.
Is Annie about to be forced to answer a series of riddles? That's the feeling I get

Congrats Annie, you've found the arrow's secret; it's a soul-trap. And now find a way out... (after an enlightening conversation with the green man probably)

Elf wraith will... burst into a sizzling air guitar solo. And then Annie will look around and see she's surrounded by etheric clubbers. And then *banned*

You know, I'm probably just hampered by screen resolution, but that looks a little like a bismuth symbol instead of a heart.

The green arrow lines on the upper left look like an arcade claw machine dumping Annie down chute. Congrats Annie, you've found the arrow's secret; it's a soul-trap. And now find a way out... (after an enlightening conversation with the green man probably) My guess is that Annie is trapped and will need help from her friends on the outside to escape.

The real question is, has he become a psycho rageghost like Jeanne? Considering the sharp diagonal 'eyes' and the darkening of the space between them, which suggests, ya know, frown-like expression... I am sliiiightly worried about Annie. Also you have error in the topic, Daedalus. He is green (sea green at best), not blue.

Looks like the objects around them are the arrow's internal components. It's possible that with a Fire Elemental, they can burn apart the mechanisms, but... Can she even use fire when she's not in her real body?

He should be an interesting man. As a "traitor", he'll be familiar with both the early Court and Forest, as well as their relations. Of course, that all revolves around him being a good conversationalist. Let's hope he's in the mood to talk... and he doesn't sound like Jar Jar Binks. We've never heard him speak, and the horrifying possibility just occurred to me.

Cookies to everyone who called this, and also I woke up this morning thinking it was Friday and that we'd have a three day wait to find out what they're going to say to each other, so hooray that I'm wrong!
Something else that occurs to me - what if he's spent the last few hundred years thinking Jeanne was also part of the plan, and that she betrayed him? Is this all actually going to end up in a Green Dude vs. Jeanne showdown once he and Annie figure out a way to get out?
And, apropos of nothing, I just realized that the yellow flame tips are a new default for Annie's ether form. Previously they only showed up when she was getting extra fiery - maybe an indication of her increasing power without the blinker stone? Am I the last person to notice this?

Has annie been shot with the same arrow in the last 4 comics? if not, I don'tthink it works like that.

Given that we have a precedent for etheric objects unexpectedly trapping people (Jeanne holding Annie's blinker stone), I think it's at least a fair guess. Annie came in contact with the arrow and is now "inside" it, and that may be all it takes for it to trap you (and/or use you as a power source if that's what it's using the Green Man for).
