I hope it's gonna be Blue, while unimaginative it would tie her even closer to Red. She'll be Blue in my mind forever anyway.
But what if, after Jeanne is finally guided into the ether and is gone forever, Annie decides to give Jeanne's name to Blue as a memento? That would be sad...

My vote is on Blue, but it could be something like Wait Let Me Start Over or What Was It We Settled On Again.

I have also voted for "blue" but I mean a variation on or reference to same, like Teal or Sky or Periwinkle or my fave... ULTRA MARINE.

My first thought was "nope! not a chance!" But then, it's fairies we're talking about... So I guess when Annie asks her what name she wants, and they maybe suggest some really fancy/pretty/cool ones, she'll respond with something like "what the fsck do I care? just gimme a name already!" And Annie will be like "welp, 'Blue' it is!" Either that or she'll ALSO want to be named "Red"!

Red 2 But in all seriousness:So Annie and Kat found Red and her friend (they call her Blue, but not to her face, just in case) and they made something too. Blue drew the picture and then Red... wrote the story.

Let me just bump this poll up since it looks like it'll be relevant soon.

As much fun as having an out-of-the-left-field name for the character I suspect it would be too cumbersome to have a new name, so I vote Blue

By that, she could also be just Mary, ultra marine being so important in painting her robes and everything. If we explore names of pigments and pigment sources, then my favorite must be Baptisia, also known as false indigo. For a "normal name", the best I could come up with is Alice, from Alice blue.

Why not "Celeste"? It works as a proper name and as a color

I'm interested in how the naming is going to go this time now that Annie has had time to prepare. I hope it's not another accidental name.

If this is Annie who's giving the name: this is the young woman who named a robot "Robot," a shadow "Shadow," and a red-haired person "Red."
I mean... I'm just sayin'... Annie is kinda... unimaginative with names =P

Aqua maybe.
If only for a few pages of silly 90s music
(srsly tho they did promise to name her in exchange for potentially life-ending dalliances with mrs spooki bones lady and unless they get inspired otherwise, can't see annie/kat changing from what they already mentioned in the comic)

Turns out she's is entirely aware of how unimaginative she is.

Calling it now, they are going to be about to name her Blue, but something happens and they accidently give her a proper name.

I think Tom might tease us by making it look like they'll accidentally give her another name, but it will wind up being Blue in the end.

I want to say that if it really is Annie who names her, her name probably will be Blue. The one snag is there are so many other 'blue' fairies, but only one megawatt ginger. Another hypothesis: Bugsy has an American gangster name. And 'Red' is a pretty American name. And all the fairies and animals call each other by insults, just like mobsters. So I'm going to go out on a limb and say there are relevant alternatives we have not considered, such as "Jackie" or "Bobbie", or even "Noodles" (after the De Niro character). Here's a list to puzzle over over the weekend. If anyone else names her, it could be anything! Parley might name her after a sword. Who knows what Smitty would say. And with Kat it could be anyone from any video game ever.

"Your name is ... umm, blue."
"Umm, Blue?"
"No, I meant ... oh, horsefeathers."
