If Jones is an android, I'd be willing to bet that Court technology was insufficient to have built her. I don't know.. the court is a place where 12 year olds are building gravitational field generators. Kat's an exceptional 12-year-old. Her peers were submitting hydroponics and rubber-band cars to the same science fair.

Rubber skin. Works miracles. Rubber cuts quite easily. By "rubber" I meant some sort of strong, skin-like flexible material, not actual rubber. Sorry for the mixup.

If Jones *is* a robot, maybe she comes from the same place as the Tic-Toc Birds. The Tic-Tocs are clearly a third party or aligned with one (they're a mystery to the Court, and they certainly wouldn't have been made by the forest-folk); Jones looks upon the friction between Gunnerkrigg and Gillitie as a neutral, living in the Court but examining its actions with the same impartial eye that she turns towards the forest. Could the Tic-Tocs be her allies?

Really late with this comment but it's nice to see Annie relaxing a bit for once.

I didn't mean that Court technology wasn't used to build her, just that I doubt it would have been sufficient on its own.

Hm... May be "Cursed teapot" is a link to Russell's Teapot? I think it's epic joke)

What was the "cursed teapot", anyway? I read back through the earlier strips and failed to turn anything up that made sense.

I just assumed it was a hint that the girls experience more weird stuff than what can fit into a webcomic, if it's going to be finished within a somewhat reasonable timespan.
