Finally some closure from here? It's interesting that students at the Court are allowed to stay on campus over the summer. I wonder if surveillance is lessened? Or, perchance, the entire next volume will be without any other students (since there will be more time for hijinx without classes to interfere).

Surprisingly there's still no end of chapter mark.

I honestly expected to see the end-of-chapter symbol on this page. Wonder what else there is.. Updates are posting earlier and earlier as time goes on, aren't they O__o

Huh, I wonder if the summer will be the focus of the next chapter.
What shenanigans await?

Updates are posting earlier and earlier as time goes on, aren't they O__o Eventually we're transitioning to a Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday comic XD Seriously though, it's a bit annoying because there's no longer a race to put up the page since we don't all know when it comes out, it's more random luck.

Shame I can't like this more than once. Good catch! However, did we not hear from him here already? That may not count, though, because it wasn't really a message for her. Trivia fact time! Currently we've passed time at an average of 578 strips per in-comic-year, or 1.58 per in-comic-day (including summers).
In comic, it's exactly two years later, assuming the school year ends about the same time each year. IRL seven years, three months, and sixteen days have passed (2664 days in total), yielding an average figure of about 3.65 days spent outside of the comic for each day inside.
Someone else could calculate how this compares to the figures in the first year alone and in the second year alone.

I'm expecting an end-of-chapter on Fridays. What day does he usually end it on?

I'm expecting an end-of-chapter on Fridays. What day does he usually end it on? Mondays: then Wednesday is the bonus page, and Friday is the next title page, to give us lots of speculation time. But he's varied it before.

Does anyone else feel like Kat saying "We're gonna have a blast" is jinxing it? I feel like everything is gonna go wrong
On a side note: I hope the bonus page is renard or the robots busting out their breakdance moves on the ship

Without distractions, they'll complete everything they want to do within a week, then the weird stuff starts: *Giant Mech-suited Kat crashes into buildings, as Annie and Renard watch on* Annie: Well, now she's just gone to far." Renard: Honestly. Does she think Lord Zedd's monsters are coming?"
This chapter just keeps going. I wonder if the last few pages will have Robot in them.

- It's official! Kat's shirt says "Super 9V", not "Super 9Y". It's not much closure, but take what you can get.
- It appear that Annie and Kat are staying in their dorm room, at least until they are booted into the Year 10 dorms. I wonder why they aren't staying by themselves in the Donlan residence during the Summer? Not enough surveillance for the Court, or Anja and Donald, to be okay with that arrangement?
- We're going to see chapter page 69 for the first time. I assume each reader will have to project his/her own crude interpretation.

Since this is most likely the final chapter in the next volume, the last page would most likely be on a Monday (maybe, though not necessarily, next Monday), followed by the bonus page on Wednesday and Tea announcing another hiatus on Friday.

Yeahhh, there's no way Annie and Kat are spending the summer together. I'm waiting for something to come up that will seperate the two again, hahaha!

"And to help you practice having a blast... I want you to take me into the ether"
Ooooh, too soon. Still, it'd be nice if nothing of the sort happened and these two could actually enjoy the summer together for once. I'll put my vote into the "everything will go fine" bucket. At least for now. After all, what twist would be more unexpected than no twist at all?

I like that she can jump right up to the top of her lofted bed. Maybe she's getting a boost from that chair-box-thing.

Don't Anja and Donald have their house all to theirselves already? I mean Kat is living in the dorm, they shouldn't be that desparate for some privacy. But in all seriousness I was kind of looking forward to Annie going on vacation with the Donlans and seeing what kind of wacky adventures would ensue. I guess I got to wait till next summer.

Reasons for Anja and Donald to be estatic... 1. Airfare costs are 50% more and hotel costs could be double with Kat included. 2. Vacation without a lonely teenager. Even if they don't know about Paz, they can expect Kat to miss Annie. So far Tom has covered summertime events either as a recap in the first chapter of the next year or as a side comic. We know Tom is working on a side comic with Paz in Spain even though we don't know if it will cover the events of this Summer (I thought it would be the backstory that led to Paz going to the Court but I don't know). If I had to bet I would guess that we'll see a recap for this Summer.

My theory:
A love letter is sent to Annie. It happened to Kat last time the room looked like this, maybe Annie will get one herself now? Or Kat gets another one?! (?!?!)

Must....resist....urge....to make.... explosion....puns...- It appear that Annie and Kat are staying in their dorm room, at least until they are booted into the Year 10 dorms. I wonder why they aren't staying by themselves in the Donlan residence during the Summer? Not enough surveillance for the Court, or Anja and Donald, to be okay with that arrangement? That would be my guess, yeah- Kat and Antimony are only about 14 or 15 afterall, right? It seems a tall order to expect them to care entirely for themselves (cooking, laundry, etc) for more than a few days, or to expect a couple of teenagers to not make a mess of something if left on their own. Kat might have access to her parents house during the daytime, but I think all the students have a curfew or something like that, which is why we went through all that stuff with the robots and Jack's bug-devices a few chapters back. One alternative though, is that the court expects Renard to stay with Annie, and it's easier to keep an eye on HIM when he's in the dorms. Most people still don't like him very much.

Renard has his own room. I didn't find the particular page that had them switching around, but maybe someone else remembers what chapter it was in. It was before Quicksilver, though, because the first page of that chapter shows his room.

Apparently the court doesn't mind if the students switch things up a little, but Renard, Annie, and Kat are all still living together in the same dorm, and not at Kat's house. They let him have some freedom, obviously, but it's probably under the same deal as the students in that he has to sort-of check in on occasion. Overall though, it was really just a theory.

Why is everyone all doom-and-gloom? C'mon, it's Christmas eve (for us), Don and Anja are going on a romantic holiday, the girls finally get to have time together, everybody should be in a good mood! Stop this foreboding right now! Break out the party hats and have a good time!
