KRAKEN VERSUS SERAPHS 10PM SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY Shouldn't that be MONDAY MONDAY MONDAY? Nope. GCK updates at midnight US Pacific - the server hosting it is in California - so folks in Hawaii (and parts of Alaska) get access to the Monday page at 10 pm Sunday. I currently have to wait until 1 AM Monday. Tom himself typically has to wait until about 8 AM - there is some variation because the US, after persuading most of the world to standardize on its rules for so-called "daylight savings time", changed its rules. There is (I think) nobody that has to wait until 10 PM Monday.

What's most ominous: Zimmy had that monstrous vision of Kat in "Divine" *after* the robots started seeing Kat as a goddess. I think there was a Word of Tom that Zimmy has always seen Kat like that. Not sure, though. Can't find it on the Wiki.

I have a feeling this is not "our" Robot, but just the Seraphs. No evidence, just a hunch.

I am concerned that with Zimmy already being seasick while the ship was gliding over smooth waters, this sudden lurching of the ship is going to send her sickness into overdrive. With her being so ill, her powers are just going to go completely out of control. Jack actually had a good point. This is dangerous. (of course we all knew that from the moment we saw her so sick). Also, I love how Kat and Paz are holding each other in Panel Six. The dancing has stopped, but they are the only couple still together.

Not sure, though. Can't find it on the Wiki. Zimmy has always sort of hated Kat. She's been rude to her since day one. After having read Divine, I figured it was because she always saw her as a scary monster.

Tom had mentioned on his formspring that "Zimmy has always been standoffish with her, but this was the first time she was essentially alone with Kat without Gamma nearby" regarding the Divine chapter. (Exact quote)
Every time Zimmy had encountered Kat, Gamma was around. Perhaps there was that subtle lantern feeling of discomfort, but it never manifested itself until her ether sinker had left her alone with Kat. Zimmy had always been antagonistic toward Kat, and even when she showed kindness by bringing Gamma blankets, that antagonism didn't really go away.
Regarding today's update: I'm now eager to know what's about to happen. We see the seraph model robots in silhouette form and it makes me wonder what they're planning. I'm assuming it's Kat related, but I'm also wondering Zim and Gammas role here as well.
Edit: also noticed that winsbury doesn't have grey around his eyes

Initially I thought they were going to do a murder mystery for the kids, but turns out it's just robots.

It's an obvious one, but I'll give it to you. I almost put in a link to a clip, myself.

Wow, looks like I missed a big page event. And really, would you look at that? I'm inclined to think the developing rough seas is coincidental to the S models' arrival. But either they came just in case, or they're the ones causing it.
Looks like the title's gonna drop.

Doctor, all I can say is "she died, and we did nothing." Also, reread Sky Watcher and the Angel. Yeah, but that was almost just a Pavlovian reflex programmed into them. Basically, what I'm saying is that as long as Robot is not involved, the robots aren't going to do anything serious. And I feel like the diction involved in this person's announcement is so over the top that it can't really be serious. Of course, if Robot is talking, then all bets are off the table, but it doesn't sound like him... Of course, I could just be reading way too much into those last two panels; WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE A WEEKEND?!?

Am I the only one to think that those clouds don't look entirely natural?

You might be right, Dédalo... Depending on how you interpret the first two panels, those clouds and waves could have formed very quickly, and the clouds definitely have a dream-like quality to them (though that may just be the Court's fabulous purple sky). Symbolism? Maybe. Zimmy? Also maybe. The Court power stations? Also also maybe. Tom really knows how to get us, putting these kinds of pages up on Fridays. WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE A WEEKEND?!? I feel for you, doctor. Heh, at least we get some interesting theories out of it, though.

Don't storms tend to come up on you really fast on the high seas?
That's what I've heard anyway.

Yes. I'd guess that it's because they don't have to interact with land/elevation.
