Pardon me if a thread like this had already been posted before. Remember Page 1049, Chapter 38, Divine (recap: where Zimmy had a peek into Annie's dreams)? This was the ethereal form of Kat that Zimmy was seeing: a mechanical angel. Now, you know how the robots see Kat as some sort of angel, right? Therefore, Kat's ethereal form must be what the robots were seeing. After all, being talented in the field of engineering isn't a qualification for being an angel, and even so, the first instance where Robot called Kat an angel was not based on her talent; it simply saw Kat and made that conclusion. There must be something else that the robots see in Kat, and my guess is her ethereal form. If so, other questions arise: Why were the robots designed like this? If the robots can observe ethereal stuff, can they form their own ethereal bodies and enter the ethereal dimension if they were programmed to? This is all very interesting.

There is in fact a thread about this! And I made it! Here's the link: gunnerkrigg.proboards.com/thread/2034/theory-kat-robots-religion?page=1The only objection I have is that Annie would have told Kat she looks like an angel in the ether. That's kind of a big deal haha Join the cult of Robokat!
