Please allow me to make this atrocity my first post. Why I thought that my first-ever experience with computer coloring should be a picture with so many lighting complications it isn't even funny, the world will never know. The sketch is way better, I might as well post that later.

I sketched Antimony. I also tried to color her, but that didn't turn out so well. I'm a bit out of practice, and also not very good with makeup.

Video tributes count as fanart, right? I actually did cut the song (and the flashes were on time, I SWEAR ON MY MOTHER'S LIFE AND MY FIRSTBORN CHILD), but Youtube messed with it... a lot... I'll finish it someday... and make Youtube pay for what they did to my poor flashes

Hi all! First post here. I wanted to try out Gouache for the first time, and soo I decided to practice by drawing Annie. Welcome to the forum, had to pop in to say that that's very nice, especially for your first hand with the medium. I love the texture of it, especially on her clothes.

Zimmy and Gamma, making hay while the sun shines. Uh, figuratively. I ship these two, i confess. Not even romantically, necessarily, but I love the mystery of Zimmy and Gamma's relationship. (Though being a fan of mysteries is kind of a prerequisite for enjoying this comic.) I have so much headcanon it's unreal, and it's all wrong I'm sure. Anyway, this is supposed to take place in the immediate aftermath of Springheeled Jack- Gamma's proud of her girl for apologising. They both came out a little older looking than I meant them to, though, I don't draw teenagers much. So maybe this is really a date they have at some point in their later teens. Whatever. I might do a background later, but I'm pretty rubbish at drawing buildings and I can't colour or use photoshop to save my life, so maybe not. Sorry for the crappy photo quality! Attachments:

Ever noticed that Zimmy is really cute when shaken out of this grumpy expression? I found a picture which, while (presumably) is not Gunnerkrigg fanart, shows what may happen if you "put her in a nice dress, do up her hair" (after she leaves the "awkward teen" stage, anyway). Behold!
Good eye, Jack! Crazy, but good eye nonetheless!

OK SO UH. Whoops I'm a terrible person. Dumb shipping ahhhh I didn't mean to there just such cuties. that romantic embrace might as well be completely platonic ok just. Just a really really quick thing I did tonight in an art stream and I thought I would post it! A friend and I have been really excited about GC recently and we're all like "wheee let's do art." We might be doing a really large collab piece featuring a lot of characters soon and I'll also probably be doing some more art because GC deserves more art from me whoops whoops.

Don't worry, neither of them has an established gender beyond "being of the etherium" and "robotic life form", so any embrace is platonic by default, you're 100% in the clear. For now...

I've done another of those fancomic things. People who have been on the forum for a while will know what to expect. New people (hello all new people) should be warned to brace their eyeballs and sensibilities for my assault. The last one (the City Face parody) equaled Boxbot in its terrible-ness but with this one I have finally managed to surpass him. It is a cross-over between Gunnerkrigg Court and the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. Deeds like this usually have some sort of explanation or manifesto attached, so here goes. This isn't really fanart. I freely admit that. It's a frankenstein made from bits of the actual comic and fragments from two or three screen shots, stitched and stretched into something monstrous. There may have been a few places that I actually had to draw something (either in Paint or with these damn Staedtlers) but I assure you anything really good was drawn by someone else, with the possible exception of most of the last page and maybe one or two other parts. Also, do not try this at home. In the depths of my depravity I have broken every rule that comic drawing supposedly has. I've got word bubbles crossing (over panel breaks, to boot), word bubbles over insert text, stand-alone panels pretending to be pages, and so on. Any symmetry or continuity between panels is pure coincidence, even on the faces of what are supposedly the same characters. Be warned that there are titanic spoilers for Neon Genesis Evangelion within this fan comic. Also be it known that the humor is probably inaccessible to anyone who isn't familiar with that show. There is just enough badly-drawn "fanservice" to turn off people who dislike fanservice but not enough for those who do like it. There may also be suggestions of foul language and maybe a rude gesture but in general it is work-safe. All in all, I think it has something for everyone. Something bad. So, you've been warned. Last chance to turn back. [Edit] A slightly-improved version has been finished. I cleaned up some of the speckling that I didn't have time to do over the three-day weekend, fixed some perspective errors, and dropped in some shading.[/Edit]

Here's a bonus page. I was planning to do the whole comic in this level of quality but it turned into a time/energy vacuum.

i.imgur.com/iUaHI.pngZimmy! After some form of ordeal! And Gamma! Discovering her again! I drew this pretty late at night (I believe the birds were just starting to wake up.) and realized much later that it definitely wasn't as good as I had figured it to be, but it's way better than the stuff I used to put on here so here you go!

I did a silly comic on the Stealing From Tom thread: Just in case anybody was still unclear, this is the message you should be taking away from this thread. It's amazing how much this needs to be repeated in order for people to understand. HERE: Since this comic is technically fanart, the only right I have is to say who can use it, except Tom can use it even without my permission because it involves his intellectual property. (Neopets does this all the time with beauty contest entries and comics.) But it's a silly comic, so you can all use it! Then some people said: That's clearly not Tom. I see a hand. Lovely fanart, but if I may make a suggestion for future drawings of Mr. Siddell more...angst in the face. Like he wants to do something, maybe punch someone maybe rip his hair out, but doesn't know what. More Spiders. hanging off hair, hands. etc. SO TO RECTIFY MY MISTAKES I PRESENT: I don't even know where my mind went with this.
