Also, all the other 'bots knew about the angel a long time ago. Why are the Seraphs so isolated?

This is a little bit off-topic, but I've been wondering recently why Kat, who cracked the robot code and is pretty much a robotic genius, has not been given any formal guidance/help by the court. Other students (Annie, Smitty, Parley) receive help and training for their abilities, but Kat is left up to her own devices.

She can't have escaped their notice, especially considering both her parents are teachers. She had been allowed to use a Court warehouse as a laboratory, and she has somehow found the dough to spring for a lot of very expensive new equipment like a CNC and a bioreactor so I believe she is getting grants/stipends at very least, because no kid her age has that kind of money just lying around. (Unless they're selling something they shouldn't be )

I doubt that money even exchanges hands. Kat's parents probably just tell her to ask any device that she might need and robots will bring her one from one of the Court's enormous storage facilities. Since she does research that's valuable to the Court, she gets to use their toys. And I doubt that any of that is especially high-end or expensive on the standards of the school, either. If she demanded etheric computers and stuff like that she might end up dissappointed, though.

I wonder if Paz was allowed to borrow Bobby and her workspace as well, or if that's just part of her education/on-campus job.

Somehow I figured that the Court probably has plenty of these things just lying around, but even then one would still need some sort of authority to requisition them. I'd imagine that Kat would have gotten said privileges from a combination of superlative grades, extracurricular activities, her parents, and possibly her personal charm (if the robots are the ones managing supplies, that is ). This is a little bit off-topic, but I've been wondering recently why Kat, who cracked the robot code and is pretty much a robotic genius, has not been given any formal guidance/help by the court. Perhaps it's because Robotics is part of the school's regular curriculum, while Medium Training is not. Also, the Court isn't fully aware of the scope of Kat's accomplishments...

Also, the Court isn't fully aware of the scope of Kat's accomplishments... Especially since a major part of her work is supplying a fugitive with a new body, something she wouldn't want to call the Court's attention to.

(Unless they're selling something they shouldn't be ) Kat been watching some Breaking Bad and, you know, she got some ideas. "I AM the danger, Annie."

Is the Court on the same page as the robot community there? They might well be completely unaware of the "problem" of S13, other than as "that robot that came from the woods and attacked Antimony, and was subsequently handed over to the rest of the robots."

I remember her getting the CNC delivered, it didn't say who it was from or what the agreement was. You can't really build your own bioreactor without advanced manufacturing and a team of employees who know what they're doing, so I doubt Kat made it herself.
