So she flashes Ysengrin huh? (I'm sorry...)
Hard to say if retrieving the stone midair would be possible... She still doesn't seem to care about getting in trouble though, so having to etherically go to the forest to get it back probably wouldn't stop her. What problems would emerge from doing so is another question.

Somehow I think she still has possession of her stone... although that would be a handy plot device for more than one reason if she has left it in the forest. Remember the time she used it on Robot, it was out of her hand? It wasn't shown, but I doubt it clattered to the floor after she stopped using it. There's magic here; why wouldn't it just levitate back into her hand after she was done using it? Also, I doubt Tom would devote an entire panel to it falling if it weren't relevant. Are you talking about in yesterday's comic? I'm pretty darned sure that's Eggers and Annie speeding away. Note the line behind and in front of them. Same as the one before.

Why are people all forgetting, it was explained in detail by Anja that she can make the blinker stone teleport to her just by thinking really hard about it being in her hand.

@gk Sierra: Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't the third last panel say "on your 6"?

@gk Sierra: Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't the third last panel say "on your 6"? Yeah, little typo on my part. Nice catch ;D. It should be Fox 2 as well because ze missile ees Infrared and not Active Radar Guided. Ah vell. Oh man, Ysrengrin would be furious if he knew we were implying he ate milk bones like a domesticated hound. (That is a freakin' AWESOME gif btw)

So that one time that Jack was holding on to it in the camping trip chapter and she couldn't... ohhh. Gotcha. Thanks for that.Edit: Went and found the page Georgie is talking about. And this one, and this one, and this one. Still appears she's retrieving it etherically-in-person, even if the first time she does it, it isn't really explained that way. Even here and here on the camping trip with Jack. Is there a page you could point us to? Or are you perhaps the one remembering wrong? :I

Or are you perhaps the one remembering wrong? :I Yes, I think she retrieves it etherically in person - but without going through the space in between. Instead she blinks from where her body is to where the stone is, grabs it, and blinks back. Much like what Parley does, except Parley doesn't need the stone at the destination and takes her body (and boyfriend) with her. So even if she does have to etherically go get the stone, it's not as if Ys or Coyote have time to do anything about it - unless they find the stone first and hold onto it.
