Panels 5 and 6 with the word in 6 replaced with something could be hilarious.

Oooh I do think something sinister is afoot here. He's kinda of similar to Loki, in that, the fun and games are masking brilliant moves. But then again, everyone knows that about trickster gods

Panel 1: Hey Coyote, I'm up here. Though he's probably looking at whatever it is that Annie has around her neck. He's looking at her long hair and thinking to himself, "I believe it will be great fun to tug on her hair and harass her further." Which he then preceded to do immediately. Because he has no impulse control, and he loves it that she never hesitates to shrug him off. www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=669

(long time lurker leaving the lurking) Omigod I just noticed she has something around her neck - WHAT IS THAT? That would most likely be what she always has around her neck: The necklace she was given by her mother with the alchemical symbol for antimony, as you can see here: www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=37 Hmm... I seem to remember Anja having a similar necklace with a different symbol on it. Tom spent a whole two panels on it, so it's probably more than a trinket.

Possible stories:
"Wandering Eye versus the Moon Martians."
"The jerk god who was a jerk."

Anja's necklace is the eye with a line through it, the one that restrains Rey. Your Avengers-fangirl is showing. Not that I can talk . You know Loki isn't an Avengers thing right? Because he's been around a long time.

I almost feel like he's trying to gauge how much her mother has told her about him. "Tell me stories about myself!" is a bit more subtle ((I mean... for Coyote)) than "So, what has Surma told you about me?" He already asked that, directly. Hmm... I seem to remember Anja having a similar necklace with a different symbol on it. Tom spent a whole two panels on it, so it's probably more than a trinket. Uh, it's her remote. You know Loki isn't an Avengers thing right? Because he's been around a long time. Well, but that wasn't about giving birth to a horse either. ;D

No he didn't. He introduced himself and she blurted out that little anecdote all on her own.

Bored indeed. He's literally standing on his head in panel 4.

Annie being back in the forest reminds me of my new found hatred for nature. the worst camping trip ever stopped me from being able to read Gunnerkrigg Court, Coyote reminds me of Loki and some guy in an old game I used to play. I should find it again, the guy in the game was also some sort of trickster god and the plot revolved around a technology versus nature kinda deal. Just a cool similarity from a great game and comic.

Considering how the first visit to the forest went, will Coyote end up telling the stories himself again?
Also, the hair-tugging is extremely adorable. Well played, Coyote.

Last panel: Draw me like one of your French girls. Glad I wasn't the only one who went there.
