I, also, am intensely envious to that dude on the last panel. ;D I think I need a translation. For me, the guy in the last panel seems to be in momentary danger of losing his head. I wouldn't regard that as an enviable position. Which doesn't convince the Glass Eyed Men, however. Isn't that the whole point? And what with the 'crazy spiral' eyes that Coyote has..... Glomp Eyes!

As for the human, yea it does look like Coyote is eating him/her. Could be some kind of metaphor and theres the spiral taking the place of Coyotes eye. After the Glass-Eyed Men, Coyote's next creation was the Gingerbread Men.

Question is, who created the humans? Not necessarily anybody. In Coyotes case, the Great Spirit (creator god I assume), but in any other mythology, that mythologys creator god usually.
