As for the clothes, maybe he did feel naked or something. Anyways, did Parley figure out how to launch-teleport someone somewhere, take Annie and Shadow there and went elsewhere (although we don't see/hear the bip twice), or did Annie figure out how to teleport? I think Annie and Shadow walked there. I took the page to be happening a bit of time after Robot was brought in as it would take at least half an hour to stick the body parts back together. Also cause first panel tells me...

I think Annie and Shadow walked there. Well, someone obviously teleported there, since there is a "BIP" in panel 5, so I think it's pretty easy to guess that Parley brought them. The lack of a second teleport may indicate that she's hanging back, still feeling guilty and stressed out about Robot. Wednesday's page may show her coming through the doorway with a worried look, followed by relief and joy. She's got her fighting strategy worked out, she just needs to get over her fear of Coyote's Tooth (if they're going to use it at all) to be ready to make a try at the device in the river. I bet the tooth would be an excellent way to destroy the device, actually. Do we really need to examine it closely? Understanding how to do it again wouldn't be very useful, and I think it would be up to Kat whether or not she wants to know how it was done in the first place, she being the likeliest candidate for figuring it out.

Wow, I never saw the BIP in the fifth panel. I just assumed Annie and Shadow had walked there. I hope Tom shows what everyone else was up to during the fix.
And Shadow looks so cuuuuuuuute! Oh! Oh! Now that he's three-dimensional, there can be PLUSHIES!

Why is he wearing clothes? He has no nerves, so he can't feel cold. On top of that, he has nothing to hide. On top of that, there's apparently a whole shadow culture, so it can't be how he was raised. Haha! I see what you did there... 'raised' ...it may have been unintentional bu I found it funny.

Why are people assuming Shadow's all 3D now?
Most likely, he's still pretty flat...

He's 3D in the sense that he can move in 3D space instead of being stuck in '2D space', that is, confined to surfaces.
Since he is mostly flat (a few molecules wide) we should occasionally see him in profile, as an almost invisible line.

[Now in 3D with clothes was that maybe they were having to disguise him to sneak him around the court, since he has to walk instead of attaching himself to robot? Though it's not a very good disguise. This is what I assumed. I don't think students are technically supposed to be hanging around with robots and forest creatures.

Also, I like Kat's everything-went-as-expected-face in panel 4. They both make funny faces. Edit: Someone on the comments feed brought up a good point: "Wouldn't he collapse from the weight of the clothes since he's only several molecules wide?" Maybe he is made of carbon nanotubes? He is made of shadow... maximum tensile stress = infinity, and so on. If you use The Science!, at least go far enough that it's fun. Also, Annie and Kat's closed eyed relieved smiles are both so precious These also made me think about how Kaja always looks like this... Anyways, did Parley figure out how to launch-teleport someone somewhere, take Annie and Shadow there and went elsewhere (although we don't see/hear the bip twice), or did Annie figure out how to teleport? Probably she simply appeared and disappeared too quickly. Like with that partyhat.

I think this won't be surprise to coyote, that it was one of his plans.
The knife is a part of Coyote, including being one of his eyes to watch the results. It has a mind of its own like Excalibur in King Aurthur's legend, it intentionally cut robot and freed shadow as part of both a funny joke and longer range plan.

I don't exactly remember Excalibur having a mind of its own or seeming like it. Other than interacting with the Lady in the Lake.

My legend begins in the 12th century...Obligatory anime references aside, I too think the Giggleblade should/does have a mind of its own. Mostly because it would be funnier that way.

If not a mind of it's own, then it's still part of Coyote and controlled by him.

If not a mind of it's own, then it's still part of Coyote and controlled by him. Coyote is certainly a very powerful being, but he doesn't even find it necessary to control his own nose more than a bit ("my nose has a mind of its own!"). So remotely controlling an even smaller part of himself? Not very like him. Tom also said on his Formspring that Coyote couldn't see through the eye designs on the Giggleblade.

(following the link) Nevermind, my brain probably needed that scarring anyway. ;D If not a mind of it's own, then it's still part of Coyote and controlled by him. Good point. Though his more autonomous extension is likely to have the same general attitude. Oh, most certainly. I wouldn't even be surprised if the Giggleblade had it own "better" idea of how it should behave, regardless of that big guy who took it out of his mouth once.
