It's not a problem of your iPad or Safari. The page appears to be a bit slow currently.
Also: *eats a "I-totally-knew-it!" cookie* ;D

It finally loaded up.
Is Annie trying to look sexy etherically? And why is she looking at the barstool behind her?

why is she looking at the barstool behind her? I don't think she is deliberately looking in that direction. She just lets her eyes wander while contemplating whether to give the Blinker to Jack (since she is aware of the traditional significance of doing that).

Yeah, I had the same problem but it worked after a little waiting. Noooo, Annie, it's a trap! Even level two collar pops have been known to mess with the judgment of the most brilliant minds and you're still a kid. Dx I deduce that the higher Jack's eyebrows get, the crazier things can turn out. Just like how the bigger Guinan's hat in STG is, the more serious the episode. Or I could be completely wrong, I'm more or less interested in seeing what Jack looks like through the blinker stone or if he can use it at all. Or if it's even wise to teach him how to use it. Then again, we're only 1 short story in, so probably nothing too crazy'll happen or else we'll miss the other ones. Maybe Jack has a story to tell, eh?

Indeed lvl 3+ collar pops are dangerous because they so often result in
*GASP*
DANCING.

We're lucky Jack is young too, if he had gone, dare I say it, over level 4, we wouldn't have just dancing, we'd have.. SLOW DANCING. The most dangerous dance of all! (xD Sorry, I'm having too much fun with this)

I wonder if Jack knows the significance of giving a blinker stone, and is deliberately asking for it for that reason?

hmm. a part of my brain that loves soap operas wants Jack to be Annie`s brother, but its difficult to have such stuff in mind when he looks like in the 4th panel, so another part that makes me watch millions of romantic movies cannot keep silence. so wow. i love it more and more, and all these intrigues just make the story exciting

Jack's playing with fire, literally! That collar-pop seemed to really light her fire! Other clichés! (And a throwback to #613.)

From the 916 thread: Hmm, I wonder if Annie will end up giving her Blinker to Jack, when she doesn't need it anymore (which I assume will be quite soon). Like, you know, "traditional gift between couples"... Sounds like she still has a lot of us for the Blinker stone yet, even if she can now do some stuff without it. I could see the gift of the blinker stone to Jack (if they go that way) being a long-range callback late in the story. Not soon, though (watch for it to happen this chapter now I've said that).Bang bang. OK, not gifted, but close enough.

Seriously tho, I think that should Jack successfully pull off an astral projection here in his first try, he's gonna see Annie in all sorts of pretty colors. I bet he'll say something charming and what not.

NOOOO, ANNIE! HE IS A SPY/DANGEROUS ETHERIC CREATURE/BAD BOYFRIEND!
I thought the most dangerous dance was DIRTY DANCING, btw, but I guess that is reserved to Collar Pops of level 10 or more.

AWWWWWW!) P.S.: I wonder will Jack have some complexities in use of Psychopomps' Blinker Stone? Jack's playing with fire, literally! Haha! +100

Tom, you tease! But no, seriously, nice catch. If I didn't know better I'd say Jack was going to set the place on fire. Not with the blinker stone, mind you, the collar pop. But it's only level 2, so. EDIT: I've got it! Jack will set something on fire, and Kat will throw Bud at it. Because his bucket is full of water.

Well, she's handed it over for Anja to use, before, so just letting someone hold it and try it is not the same as an outright gift. Still, it does seem to foreshadow more significant options later.

Annie? Safe? Not to all appearances.
Nobody's talked to Jack about Blinker Stones, so I doubt he knows the significance of what he's asking. Annie does, though, and you can see her thinking about it. Granted, this seems to be only a temporary loan, but it still shows a new level of trust is Jack.
I'm still wondering when Annie got used to the idea of flirting. And when she became so smooth. Perhaps this will be the next story?
Also, can Annie still use it, now that she's given it to Jack? Because if Jack brings it back to his room, that might get a bit disturbing.

For some reason i keep expecting a bad twist to this This comfortable flirting/talking back-and-forth is just going too well All my memories of being 14 and attracted to someone involve a lot of stuttering, saying the wrong thing at the wrong time and making an idiot out of yourself am i really alone on this?

I forgot about that picture, nice find! A brief side note, we now know what that heart is in 834 via 882. The sword might be a clue related to the scratch in 890 if its not a part of stylistic composition.
