YEAHHHHHH!!!! get owned Frankenbot! how dare you hurt Kat's wrist. My only disappointment is that S13 stopped Ann from launching a Kamehameha We know that Annie could make a fireblast that would hurt Frankenbot and leave Kat unscathed, but Robot S13 may not know this. What has Antimony summoned there? It looks like a kind of pseudo-blinker stone. And I notice that although distracted, the thing she summoned didn't go away, though it stopped glowing. Annie's normal blinker stone can be summoned in this manner.

I really miss this. So adorable. Same here. Then again, I suppose you could look at it as his having left behind his robot "toddler" phase and being currently in the midst of a moody, shy, crush-harboring robot "adolescence"? Which is kind of cute, too. So when does Annie give him 'the talk'? After he starts sprouting wires in weird places?

Interesting fashion choice (besides the hoodie & pants): Robot's calves and forearms appear to be bound up with athletic tape. I wonder why.

Also, maybe she was using her blinker stone as a focal point? Or maybe Annie would just make frankenbot angry.

Y'know, even with the grabbing of Kat's arm 'n all, I think it might not have been all that hostile. I'm afraid that Robot (and if not Robot, it would've been Annie) acted a little prematurely. It's not like he was polite. But i don't think that Annie was trying to give the Iron Guy an illusory flower either. Nor that she was trying to do something subtle like disabling, so Annie didn't re-learn to act cold-blooded or even level-headed again. Also, I wonder what he's gonna do in the tomb down there. Reboot all the other bots, or what? Any guesses as to what tomb Frankenbot means? Diego's? My impression is that he assumed this is the prototypes' theater room and tries to proceed with some old orders, which require that passage in the wall. They have nothing to hide, at this point. It's not the current people's fault. Ha-ha. Never saw a para-historical flamestorm? Also, i'm amazed by annie's reflexes. She's faster than robots! Awe Not faster - after all, S13 had to move to Kat and the blinker appeared right in Annie's hands.

We know that Annie could make a fireblast that would hurt Frankenbot and leave Kat unscathed, but Robot S13 may not know this. hmmm, well wasn't S13 encased in Ann's flames last chapter? Also it's my understanding that Ann had been playing with her fire on and off during the last few days. I don't think S13 was completely ignorant of the flames (or the stone) capabilities. I just think he wanted to show off.

It was to happen sooner or later, and the current administration might not be so jaded and totalitarian to bury every evidence again. They have nothing to hide, at this point. It's not the current people's fault. On the other hand, the faculty might want to hush up the dark deeds of the Founders because they could give the Court a bad reputation; what if, once the story of Jeanne's murder became public, more of the students responded the way that Kat did? The current faculty might think it better to cover up the Founders' dark side to avoid being a source of embarrassment.

Please allow me this opportunity to agree with you. ---------------- As I was at work today and I heard Mr. Roboto on the radio. The following seemed somehow oddly appropriate to today's page. Especially line three: I've got a secret I've been hiding under my skin, My heart is human, my blood is boiling, my brain IBM, So if you see me, acting strangely, don't be surprised,I'm just a man who needed someone and somewhere to hide, To keep me alive, just keep me alive, Somewhere to hide to keep me alive,

Here's my take on today's comic: -green eyes = not hostile, and it knows to not crush Kat's wrist -Annie is about to blast Frankenbot at full strength -Robot also wants to help Kat, but keeps damage to a minimum -Frankenbot is desperate and anguished, not angry

I think Robot was aware of what he was doing, and just was saying, "I got this one" As I explained earlier, it depends on the 'mood' and situation. For Doorbot, it seems to be more that he is generally grumpy, with the dangerbots (back in Ties) it was because the situation had become serious and they were trying to keep the students safe, with the robots accompanying the security people, it was because they were entering a potential danger and were ready to act. For the Guard Bots, 'INTRUDER ALERT!' is the only explaination needed. As for Frankenbot, the fact that he has green eyes is interesting, given that all of the old models (including old boxbot*) have blue eyes. *Yes I know boxbot is a gag, but he does have a blue feather despite having blank grille eyes.

Very nice! A pensive robot and a sad shadow. And is that Cityface, ready to do a dance to try to cheer them up?

For some reason when I saw the penultimate panel the image that came to my mind was a group of KatxRobot shippers doing the wave.. o.o
Anyway, does anyone think that Frankenbot will find some sort of extra secret item/compartment in Jeanne's tomb?

Well, I wouldn't be surprised if the underground was riddled with passages. Given the age and size of the court and the fact that so much of it seems abandoned. Not to mention that the modern court is built right on top of the old court. Not too different from cities that have been around for centuries or millenia. Still, pretty strange that there is an excavated chamber right on the other side of that wall. I wonder if that is actually the underground passageway that leads to the secret basement room.

Well, it would have to be, wouldn't it? Unless we get a panel where Frankenbot wanders aimlessly through the underground passages, lost and confused; more likely to make a bee line for it.

Kat's workshop has a SECRET BASEMENT ROOM "That's who you were. That's not what you've become. You want to know, Kat? Come on. Come on, let's go down to the basement. Let's go down, you and me together. Then you'll know who you really are."
