Should've invited Kat.She'd've charmed the Robot Guard. Although Jack is not without some sway over the mechanicals.... I like that the guard holds a flashlight, rather than having it built in.

METAL GEAR?! ;D
All Jack needs is a cardboard box and a tranquilizer gun (and maybe some night-vision/infrared goggles) and he'll be a bonafide special forces operator / infiltration agent / spy.

Jack makes the best faces.
Well, the second-best faces. After the Robot King.

My first instinct was to make Jack use CQC, then I realized this wasn't that. Maybe there'll be something in that backpack of his, perhaps reminescent of Donny's car door opener/robot paralyzer thing.

I like that the robot guard is wearing a tie. That shows a proper degree of professionalism, in my opinion.

I'm always amazed by the scale of buildings in the Court.

I'd like a wider view of the last panel as a wallpaper. It's epic.

All Jack needs is a cardboard box ...some food and rest to be able to climb out of it. Right now he runs just on crazy. Panel 5 > heck of a grin. Perhaps he feels like a fish that reached the water. I'd like a wider view of the last panel as a wallpaper. It's epic. +1.

I can just imagine jack chuckling madly the entire time he runs.
Here's an odd question though: In panel one does the boat go under those little arches to get to panel 2? If not, would the evaporation of water when the lightning gun fires make it possible to do that?

If not, would the evaporation of water when the lightning gun fires make it possible to do that? I think they row alongside of those arches. You can see the fence that they go through in panel four in the corner of panel one. (at least i think its the same fence). I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the lightning gun part of your question though. It looks like it would be possible to go under the arches. Maybe someone else can help me out here.

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking of MGS ;D It's a shame Kat is disillusioned towards Jack now. I'm sure she'd be impressed by all this Tactical Espionage Action. I'd like a wider view of the last panel as a wallpaper. It's epic. +1. +2

For some reason I was expecting the power station to be vacant. The robo-guard surprised me. Can anybody explain what is going on in panel 2? I am slightly confused as to what Jack is doing with that oar.

I wonder if Robot Security Guard eats Robot Donuts and in 10 years will have a Robot Paunch.

To me, it looks like they've come up alongside a low wall on the edge of a sluice (I see water going down the sluice on the left side of the panel) and he's using the oar to steady themselves against the wall. It looks like they climbed out on that narrow wall in order to ascend the narrow ladder that led down to it.

Ok... Didn't anyone else totally hear the Mission Impossible song going on for this comic? Dun dun dun dundun! Dun dun dun... dundun... Oh I only wish. Every time there is a scene featuring the Power Station my internal soundtrack slips to Starship - We built this City. See that robot guard? He's humming it RIGHT NOW. Oh 1985. why do you hurt me so.
