But the first day was yesterday. Saying it on any other day feels weird. (I rarely give or receive New Year's greetings on other days than the day itself. I guess customs vary?)
There does seem to be some disconnection between her physical and etheric self. Kinda freaky, but it might be a subconscious expression?

Nothing wrong with 15 days of New Year in my book. that's 15 days to convince ppl to fork over the Ang Paos. Definitely nothing wrong with that. ;D Yeah, a subtle disconnect while exploring the etheric realm would lend to some potentially scary scenarios.

This could explain how Eglamore can jump so high. He uses blinker power to lift his body, cool!

I'm slightly sadden by the prospect of not getting any more amazing penciling for some time.

So if Annie can look forward to lifting her body with but a thought, will she be able to move other objects with the same ease?

This could explain how Eglamore can jump so high. He uses blinker power to lift his body, cool! But Eglamore never seems to have a blinker stone out when he does it. So either the jumps come from something else or he's powerful enough not to need 'training wheels' like a blinker stone. Never actually thought of Eglamore being a powerful magic user actually. I just thought he was physically awesome.

Annie in the last panel, at a very quick glance, is very well-drawn. Not that the rest of the comic isn't too.

I guess now we know how Annie is going to get back down in the ravine to confront Jeanne's ghost.

aww she looks so peaceful... and then the irritated expression on her face when the flower hits her is priceless.
I also really like the way Tom drew Coyote flowing from the ether to the "real world" in the last panel.

Wait, so.... Annie is going to be able to fly? “Thanks for the vote of no confidence and shut your mouths and look… Up in the sky.” “That's actually hot.”

New powers!
Also, congratulations to Tom for having drawn 5 consecutive pages in etheric view!

Now she can move things! She will gain so many powers that the only legitimate last chapter will be Chapter 1234: Annie vs Superman.
I do love Etheric Coyote. Teeth and eyes together, very creepy.

If not how to use it, then at least to learn enough to respect that it's a legitimate source of power, instead of disregarding it as Court scientists do. In any case, I agree with fjodor. Now gurdled with this new revelation, I think Eglamore must have some control over the etheric to be able to achieve such feats of bounding XD

hahaha, nice Sebastian.
Also Annie being able to fly makes me want a page where she is flying alongside Kat, who is in that machine she crafted to rescue Annie from the Ravine. Or at least a panel.

I always thought Eggers didn't have a blinker stone. He seems to think Annie's is dangerous in the chapter "Residential." Maybe that is because he has one and therefore knows what powers lie hidden in it? After all, Reynardine also warned Annie about the use of the stone. And we cannot rule out the possibility that there are other objects with roughly the same abilities as blinker stones.

They're lenses for the etheric power within the user to be expressed in the real world.

I believe Chiparoo was talking about the actual Etheric Magic, not the lense to amplify the ability to use Etheric magic

Never actually thought of Eglamore being a powerful magic user actually. I just thought he was physically awesome. Well, George didn't need a blinker stone to teleport, either! Either he has a blinker stone kept on his body somewhere (likely given to him by Jones ) or, and I think this is probably more the case, Eglamore doesn't use a stone, but is trained in just the specific form of jumping with your mind and body. Or maybe he's just got a knack for jumping that Mr. Thorn saw in him. He's not a magic user, that's for sure, because, after all, when he fights Jones ( here) he cannot begin to comprehend how to counter her mental bending of space. Edit: typo
