New comic. She definitely needs more practice on that one.

Yuuuuup.
A little practice would certainly cause her less flying sweat drops of embarrassment, at least.

That's not a fairy, is it? (although his hair goes up - I wanna be his friend!!)

That's not a fairy, is it? (although his hair goes up - I wanna be his friend!!) Doesn't really look like one to me. Perhaps an elf? Or a goblin? Really, Tom could take any synonym for "sprite" out of the thesaurus for this...guy? I do like Eglamore's expression in panel 2.

ooh i can't WAIT to see what's going to happen in this chapter. It doesn't look like she has her bag so I guess she left Rey back at the school?

LAUGHING ON LINE, I can practically here her snap when she says, "I'm working on it." Which made me chuckle.

That's not a fairy, is it? (although his hair goes up - I wanna be his friend!!) Could be a tree spirit of some kind. Unlikely though since we already know what they look like now. Maybe he's just a green midget. I am loving Eglamore's expression there.

For some reason I thought the green person was Marcia in her nymph form or something. But then again we already saw that so I'm not sure why I thought that.

I thought the little goblin was female... anyway the wonky symbol and Eglamore winding Annie up about it is priceless

The symbol may be wonky, but the hair on that goblin is fantastic. Stupendous, I tells ya!

Something about the creature's attire suggests India; maybe it's a creature from India's myths and legends. (If Coyote can move to Britain from the southwestern U.S., mythical beings from India can do the same - and it might be all the easier, given the intertwining of Britain and India's history in the past few centuries.)

Something about the creature's attire suggests India; maybe it's a creature from India's myths and legends. Well, certain cultures in India are really big on jewelry (India is the largest consumer of gold for jewelry today), and this creature appears to be wearing: * Two necklaces * Three bracelets on one arm * Twelve rings on one hand But India isn't the only place with such cultures, and quite aside from culture some individuals have the same fascination. And the creature's jewelry does not appear to be predominantly gold, so stereotypical India doesn't quite fit. My bet is it's something native to the British Isles. Add-on: if it's from India, it's extremely likely to be female; if British, not so sure.

Since the strip's #666, I put forth that the little guy is Old Scratch.

Hey, me too! Could be a lot of things, though. I haven't crossed out wood nymph, in case it's an opportunity for Tom to show us what Marcia looked like before passing the test (or one of her relatives!).

She's not wearing her makeup. Tom doesn't draw it in "distance shots", only in the closer shots.

She's not wearing her makeup. Actually, she is. It's just not very visible unless you magnify the image. Attachments:
