I love the sky-down view of the Court. Good work with the perspectives, Tom.
Well, that was an enlightening chapter. Can't wait to see what's next!

Skyscrapers in the Court! Wow, that place is more massive than I thought.
Lovely, Tom, truly lovely, just like it always is.

It's oh so easy to forget just how immense the court is given that we experience/view such a small part of it, that views that put it into perspective like this are well worth it.
Interesting that this latest revelation has brought them closer to understanding why their creator made them in the first place. I'm definitely eager to see what their ultimate conclusion is.

That made me laugh, and then I thought that "Kill all forest creatures" could be closer to the "truth"

Why would a weatherstation keep track of a variable such as the number of Angels? Maybe Skywatcher's real function is scribe, or history-keeper?

So, this little Sky Watcher turned out to be a shy poet inside. ;D And once again Tom ends a chapter with a good final scene. Why would a weatherstation keep track of a variable such as the number of Angels? Seems to be related to the primary function: recording observatons. Maybe Skywatcher's real function is scribe, or history-keeper? Isn't it part of the same?

So is Robot now a renegade prophet or something?
This was an especially beautiful chapter. Thanks, Tom.

I wonder what Kat's going to be like the next time we see her... The whole situation of being asked to explain something as horrible as Diego's actions is a lot to ask of a teenage girl.

It makes me wonder about the scope of Skywatcher's basic function. After all you do not expect a weather satellite to count the number of birds either.

It's something he's decided to do himself due to his experiences.

Yeah, the comic explicitly tells us this *isn't* something he kept track of before.

Wow, what a great chapter! In terms of information, one of the richest sources for wild speculation yet! And great art and writing.

I mean, what other kinds of data would robots be interested in? its probably the closest thing they have (had now thanks to Robot and Matadorbot) to mythology...

Sky watcher's basic function is to watch and report. His design is to be a weather station but diego was apparently clever enough not to create robots that can only accomplish one thing and so while he has given them the tools to accomplish certain tasks he has given them loose enough programming that if need be they may do more.
After all he saw the painting of Jeanne and immediatly reported to the king, maybe he's watching birds at a request from the court ornothological society or because gillitie woods birds pose a threat to the court. Now he's watching for angels and will report them as need be.

Or maybe it was a random poetic thing and we're silly for taking it so seriously and literally.

That made me laugh, and then I thought that "Kill all forest creatures" could be closer to the "truth" Were this a tragedy in the Greek tradition, such a revelation would create a rift between Kat and Annie. One which could only be sealed with blood. I would cry. (Fortunately, it isn't.)
