[645]Wow. When I saw him walking up with the pen, I thought it was a mic and I was like "oh snap, Kingbot gonna lay down some phat lines!" but then I was like "ohwait, it's just a pen." and then I was like "Wait, what?"

Kingbot is... weird. O.o
At least now we know what that cloth he's carrying is for: he needs it whenever he wants to change his facial expression. ;D

I thought he was imitating a journalist with that marker.
But points for awesome face-changing (:

When I saw him walking up with the pen, I thought it was a mic and I was like "oh snap, Kingbot gonna lay down some phat lines!" I thought the same thing. But what actually happened is at least 362% funnier.

Haha! What?
Seriously, this comic!!! *shakes fist* Facebot is shiny and also a fancy dude. I absolutely did not expect Facebot, not in my wildest speculation-dreams.

That last panel reminds me of the King of All Cosmos.

That last panel reminds me of the King of All Cosmos. All the panels remind me of him. Kat's expression is my general reaction to him.

Kat seems to remain composed remarkably well, while Annie does rather to the contrary. A reversal of roles, one would say. Also, that guy really just creeps me out. He is built like an orangutan and his face just bugs me, drawn on or not. That said, I hope we may see Kingbot more in the future. He seems like an interesting fellow.
An interesting fellow moonlighting as a creepy robot.
Edit: His eyebrows look like Smitty's. Coincidence? Probably!

Kat seems to remain composed remarkably well, while Annie does rather to the contrary. A reversal of roles, one would say. The truly ironic thing about this statement is that Annie slightly raises an eyebrow and parts her lips, and this qualifies as her totally losing her composure to you.

Fan: Your Majesty, you and your royal rainbows in a tomb would such utter perfection! Kingbot: ............ .............. ............... perfection ............... Kingbot: Yes, this tomb shall be a marvelous thing. Prince, roll me up this tomb, so that I may see it! And be faster, I haven't got all day.

I'm particularly fond of Kat's not-quite-smile in the last panel she's in. That's a whole lot of awkward mixed with trying-not-to-laugh-ness. Is there a word for that?

While the last panel is certainly the best panel Tom has ever drawn, I'd say the second to last panel is pretty awesome too. Annie and Kat look amazing in it.

I love the robot king's blank face and little eyes, but his hint-of-picasso eyes and nose give me the fear! And he seems a little pushy, where's his noblesse oblige?

This brings up so many questions.
Is that a board marker? If it isn't how does he erase the previous expression on his face? What does he do when the pen runs/dries out? How does he draw so well on his own face without a mirror or any sort of tactile sensation?

The whole drawing on facial features with a marker to express emotion is very like Banpei, the robot in 'Oh! My Goddess'.

He's a Robot, he probably can simply calculate the position the pen needs to be in based on a knowledge of his own schematics.
