That's not much of a king. Unless he's King of the Boxbots.

Either that wimp is the king, or he's a fraud with easy access to Standard-bearer-bots, Carriagebots, and a Fanfarebot.

What would Sky Watcher's role be then? He's on the carriage after all.

Of course if he is, he is probably secretly planning to overthrow the robot king and usurp his throne, because all royal advisors are actually evil, conniving types with delusions of grandeur and ultimate power.
I watch a lot of movies.

What the hell, Tom. ;D haha! this. the Internet-Cookie-Seeking-Machine is going to tear itself apart with such a crazy start to work from... haha ;D unless.... the king of the robots has come to see this upstart robot religion for himself! and persecute its followers for upsetting the natural balance of the robot kingdom! Also, I JUST realized that Kat's headscarf is a Metal Gear Solid reference. I love that child so.

What would Sky Watcher's role be then? He's on the carriage after all. His role would be that of an intelligence gatherer, who reports all findings of significance to his superiours. But yes, I think I agree to the general tenor when I say: WTF? ;D Let's just hope robo-king tries to go all "silence" on Kat, too. I'd love to see that. ;D

Eleventh-ing the "what's this then?" feeling all around, and waiting eagerly. Three things noticed. 1) The Robot king is sure being set up to look ridiculous (what with the googly woogly long yellow limbs [longer than his legs] and the complete lack of mouth on his face). 2) Those standards the robots are bearing in the back have the same symbol on them as the one on the front of Kat's overalls. See last page for reference. What's all that about, for those of us out of the alchemical symbol loop? 3) From this angle, it looks like Tom gave Annie quite the fashionable coat! It's all asymmetrically buttoned with one big pocket on the front. Is it really so fashion-crazy, or is it just that she's turned 1/4 away from us in the fourth panel?

What's all that about, for those of us out of the alchemical symbol loop? That's Bismuth, it's all over the Court. I think it might just be a drawing error.

Yeah, y'know what, I'm throwing my hands up and watching from the sidelines. Tom just keeps on blindsiding us.

What's all that about, for those of us out of the alchemical symbol loop? That's Bismuth, it's all over the Court. So, the kids can purchase their own casual weekend clothing right there at the Court? Pretty cool. Also, time to add another wishlist item to the GKC Store. What do we have so far? Hat (residential), t-shirt (obligatory/traditional), overalls (this chapter), ...? Also, Annie gave Kat her scarf. maaww... Nice friends gesture, and a great detail on Tom's part that contributes nothing in particular to plot but spades and spades to subtle, realistic characterization.

At the end of this chapter Robot wakes up in his mouse body and is all "Daaaaang just another crazy robot dream!"
The Kingbot is adorable, he doesn't even have a mouth. Love it.

As a philosopher once said: I'm guessing this is going to be the theme of this entire chapter. probably should have just called the chapter "Haha! What?"

Crymsen, please delete or edit your post -- a too long word stretches the page, and makes it difficult for the rest of us to read the thread.
