Damnit. You beat me by one minute. *Sigh* I'll go delete my thread. I swear I'll beat you one day.

Like I said, next Friday (not this Friday), all ye who wish to post the thread, battle for it. I shall be gone. (But I'll still be back on Monday.)

Schweet! I'll get it! I'll totally get it nine times!
But back to the comic itself: So, they're camping inside the Court. That makes sense. There's easily room for a couple acres of woodland in there. I wonder if its encased in a perspex bubble or something to protect it from the smog generated by the rest of the Court. Although I doubt it because that would make the whole rainstorm thing totally pointless. Chekov's gun shoots down another hypothesis.

Kat's hair has grown longer? Outrageous!
I'm having a serious problem with this.

Ghost stories, huh? I wonder if Mort will be popping in... (Does he ever leave that small part of the Court?)

I love this page! I love the art style. I love Kat's hair. Do you realize how long it's been since we've seen Kat? Well let me tell you... 67 pages!!

21 students visible. That means at least all of Queslett 8, at least. so whether jack will talk to Carver or not, will be on this trip.

Field Trip!
And Yay! Kat is Back!
I see she's got her mom's rebellious swirls in her hair.

Is that Gamma in the background of the third panel?

Is that Gamma in the background of the third panel? That girl is talking to another student and Zimmy isn't attacking that student, so I doubt it.

Because I got the impression from this page that there were 15 boys and 15 girls in QN (and another 15 boys and 15 girls in QS, thus making 30 of each in the dorms). Not saying you're not right... it could be the entirety of Year 8 for all I know (a fact supported by this page which seems to indicate the entire Year 8 was being addressed in the assembly) but I'm just curious how you can reach the conclusion you did from the evidence.

I like Kat's longer hair.
I like how Annie's hair streams out when she's talking to Rey.
And, btw, I like knowing what the rectangles were at the bottom of the last strip: train windows. I'd wondered about that.

I prefer Kat with longer hair, and I like the effects on Annie's hair in the first panel.
Does Kat's clothing remind anyone else of World War 1 era military battle dress?

Is that Gamma in the background of the third panel? No, it's a de-aged clone that combines Jeanne's DNA with an alternate future version of Antimony sent back in time by Coyote to prevent The Wood from being bulldozed and turned into a strip mall. Or because he was bored, one of the two. Anyway. It seems that Kat is definitely growing her hair out. Does anyone remember what would have sparked this change?

Anyway. It seems that Kat is definitely growing her hair out. Does anyone remember what would have sparked this change? The decision to wear her hair in a longer style? Half the people I've ever known (male and female) did it as some point in their career as a student.

Someone posted in the page's comments: I caught that sly 'again'. I have to wonder what Annie's been speaking to Reynardine about, and then I explode into bits of sugar and fluff.Hmmm... that commenter has a point, you know. It seems between the previous page and the end of the previous chapter, Annie's talked etherically to Rey several times. They (Annie & Rey) surely *are* bonding. 21 students visible. That means at least all of Queslett 8, at least. How does the math work on that by the way? Because I got the impression from this page that there were 15 boys and 15 girls in QN (and another 15 boys and 15 girls in QS, thus making 30 of each in the dorms). There are still students on the right side of the 'camera', and perhaps 'behind' the 'camera'. And it's just a single car; we can see the train having several cars. 6 cars visible behind the power car. I prefer Kat with longer hair, and I like the effects on Annie's hair in the first panel. I like my girl Kat with shorter hair

Well, there is a good chance someone will catch Willie and Janet when they try to get some alone-time. Just think, Ann and/or Kat doing a little midnight-stroll through the park when she/they hear something behind the bushes. No, not a bored Rey watching after them but those two lovebirds smooching around. Entertainement guaranteed ^^
Or maybe Rey is plotting something. After all, this seems to be the first time since he got the toy-body that he is unsupervised. For days!

The aforementioned panel shows how many students are in one car. If we consider all cars to be filled, then all Queslett can easily be accommodated. And probably all year-8 students.

"If we consider" is not a logical statement, it is a supposition. You're arguing a losing point.
Strictly speaking, the ONLY thing that you can conclude from a panel showing 21 people is that 21 people are on the train at this moment. NOTHING else. In point of fact, you can't even say that because you don't know that they're all people. Logically speaking you can only say that Annie and Kat are on the train and there appear to be 19 other humans as well.
Supposition is just that... supposition. My original response to King Mir was that you cannot logically conclude from the evidence given anything other than the fact that 21 students appear to be on the train, and that that doesn't encompass more than QN, and therefore you cannot conclude with the evidence given that all of Queslett is on the trip.

If we consider that in 11 dimensions the train is infinitely long, there's definitely enough room for all of Queslett ;D It's a British train though, so there will still be engineering works and the time-boards will be broken.
Kat is really starting to look like Anja now, it's cute. I hope she never cuts her hair again.
