Reynardine is in good spirits today. Must be all the denial in the room. And the zingers.
It's also really nice to see that he and Annie have gotten over that awkward phase in chapter 21.

Renardine looks great in panel 3. That's a profile-worthy picture.

Lovely expression on Annie in frame 6, and yes, the next frame counts -- it's as near a hug as makes no never mind.
The day's gonna come, girl, when he gets his growth, and you're gonna to try a head lock like that, and find your self pinned against a wall...and then well and thoroughly kissed. "...And don't think I'm finished with you yet!"
*goes into a happily dazed reverie*

It just occurred to me that this might be the simulation Jones was telling Reynardine about. Who it's intended for is beyond me, though. We can at least deduce that if this is the simulation it's not for Annie. After all, she instigated this line of conversation. There would have to be some pretty powerful persuasion going on to get Annie to start her own simulation. If it's for anyone it's for Andrew, seeing as the focus of this conversation is on him. I doubt this is the simulation though. I think it's real life, so far as you get real life in a webcomic. I'd like to join the consensus that Parley and Andrew are a very cute couple. Andrew is acting exactly like a guy, we couldn't tell if a girl liked us even if she said "I love you more than life itself" and then started stroking us. We'd just think "Strange girl" then ask if she wanted to play Jenga.

I wager that all you proponents of the "this is just a simulation" theory are reading waaaaay too much into this.
They've just finished changing their clothes, and are on their way to the next one.

That's what I thought as well - but we've probably had so many surprises sprung upon us in the webcomic before that some readers don't take anything for granted.

And with that in mind, maybe the simulation never ended (who's to say Randy didn't give the thing a colour mode) and they're going through it right now. For all we know the three of them are separate and speaking to holograms. ;D

I think that's a bit much. Hehe.
In the seventh panel it looks like Parley is cuddling him. Even if she is being a bit abusive. How else could she cuddle him and make it not look like she likes him? Teehee. :>

If this is part of the simulation Reynardine is participating in, what kind of suit (the kind the students use to feel the objects) is he using?
EDIT: And I'm seeing more evidence that everyone in Gunnerkrigg is ambidextrious.

This made me laugh like an idiot, because it's true. Jenga, I ask you... If music be the food of love, Jenga must be the after-dinner mints. I imagine human Jenga would be quite sensuous, albeit slightly painful for the three on the bottom layer. @sand: What is the evidence of ambidextrousity you have noticed?

@sand: What is the evidence of ambidextrousity you have noticed? Eglamore's pretty well armed ...sorry.

@sand: What is the evidence of ambidextrousity you have noticed? The fact that everyone seems to use the hand that's facing away from the "camera" on a regular basis?

I really think it's just a convenient way to draw stuff.

I love the contrast between Annie and the others' speech patterns. Annie sounds so formal and carefully phrased; they sound very casual and 'loose' about their words.
Also, the shiny floors in the last panel seem so out-of-place in the normally worn-down court.

Boy nothing cheers Rey up like teasing a guy about the obvious, though I think Smitty doesn't have a angel-bot to pay respects to his shrine of George.
