Well. And in answer: probably. But that depends on your definition of 'manly'.

Reynardine approves of the hotness.

I've played with those puzzle balls -- and there is no way, none, to get one to fall apart like that.
Smitty's gift works in reverse, too.

Ah, confirmation of what the GK wikia has stated for a fair while now - "Parley and Andrew are totally gonna get married". Andrew will now shuffle around embarrasedly, unthinkingly kicking the pieces of that puzzle back into place.

Yeah, Smitty, take relationship advices from a 12(?) years old girl and a demonic possesed stuffed toy.

Word of Tom, boy, Word of Tom.
That said, I'd really like to watch that happen. For an ideally-controlled experiment, Smitty should be either blindfolded or staring at the ceiling.

It's great to see Annie back in school uniform after six chapters. I'd missed it.
She seems a bit of an unmarried marriage counsellor here; Annie's never shown any romantic feelings towards anyone as far as I can tell - though maybe you don't have to have them to recognize what the tension between Parley and Smith is about. (I still doubt that we'll ever see her have a boy-friend - unless Tom finally gets fed up with those speculations about the exact nature of her friendship with Kat.)

Ah Annie, such a blunt way of saying it. But sometimes that's the only way to get it through someone's head. Of course, knowing that this is a story makes it much simpler to go from the "person X teases me" to "person x likes me" conclusion. In reality making that connection is much harder, trust me.
I like the puzzle. It seems that with a sufficiently powerful surprise, Smitty's powers can actually work in reverse. I've seen those sorts of puzzles, and while you couldn't play baseball with them and keep them intact, they certainly don't just fall apart on their own.

Smitty doesn't need a marriage counselor, he just needs an outside perspective. Annie is as good as any.

Yeah, but never about relationship? I mean the nearest thing she have to a boyfriend is a ghost (no offense to Mort) and, yeah, she didn't handled it in the smoothest possible way (even if she made a good save in the end)

Dudes... she's not giving relationship advice, she's pointing out the obvious: that Parley is all over Smitty. Smitty is the only one who can't see that her teasing and noogeying is Parley's way of saying 'I like you'.
It's not like Annie is telling him how to pursue a relationship. She just said "she's all over you." Is there anyone here for whom it wasn't obvious that Parley was all over Smitty? So obvious, in fact, that literally, a child could tell?

Man I am really enjoying Annie's complex expressions here, especially panel 5 . Smitty's candidness seemed to prompt her to drop her war face...
Of course Reyardine approves! What a horndog!

Andrew Smith: possessor of that special kind of thickness found only in inopportune situations.
I love this page, it's just so ridiculously normal after dogtrees and Jupiter Moon Martians and the like. I bet everyone's had this conversation sometime.
Edit: It occurred to me, like Uncle Putte, that this is the sim, but I want it to be real and see what awkwardness ensues.

Wait, I think Smitty also needs a cigar and glasses and THEN the transformation to Smitto Marx is complete.

I mean the nearest thing she have to a boyfriend is a ghost (no offense to Mort) and, yeah, she didn't handled it in the smoothest possible way (even if she made a good save in the end) And I think it's one-sided; Mort has a crush on Annie, but Annie sees him as a friend rather than a boy-friend. Even after her apology, I doubt that she has any romantic stirrings towards him.

It just occurred to me that this might be the simulation Jones was telling Reynardine about. Who it's intended for is beyond me, though.
