Yeah, Robot. Like, Jeez. Why is this storyline so awesome? It just is. And Robot. I mean, he was fine before but now it's like his "Cool" dial was turned up 10 notches. Seriously.

Its awesome because it contains both robots AND swords.
Cold machine efficiency + masterful melee weapon = WIN.

So you're saying that Robots and swords are intrinsically awesome and the combination of the 2 will create an awesome singularity that will swallow the Universe.
I can get behind that.

Kat's expression quite clearly states to me, "wut?"
Also, I am all for robots with swords and wings. THAT is what Honda should be building.

I think she is conflicted. 1) Yay! robots in action! 2) Noooooooooooo don't destroy robots! 3) How is it doing that? 4) mmm elgamore.

Man, I have such a short attention span, I think I'm the only one not on the "YEY robot, sword" bandwagon. More talking, less boring fighting already. I'm starting to feel like I'm watching Lost again - too many questions, not enough answers = frustration. The answer? Stop watching Lost.
(P.S Yeah I'm prepared to be flamed?)

I am inclined to agree with MonkeyBucks, as the plot has come to a standstill waiting for Seraph to kill the Bullbot.

You know, I kind of think that people are right about this being a play. I also think in 417 I can see stadium seating... I don't think people were meant to just walk in the arena.

Seems to me like this isn't a play, but more likely an arena. Something like a roman collessuem, but for ROBOTS! Or perhaps spectators could bet one which robot they thought would win?

I had expected this chapter to be heavier on the Kat-based flashbacks. Maybe Tom doesn't want to break up the whole basement scene and we'll get a couple of flashbacks later to bracket the chapter.
Also, I wonder if Tom reads China MiƩville.

I am inclined to agree with MonkeyBucks, as the plot has come to a standstill waiting for Seraph to kill the Bullbot. I'd like to think of it as a Dr Disaster Interlude for the story. edzepp: Awesome singularity it is. Can't wait for the next page. I just remembered what I was thinking about this page: " My name is Inigo Montoya. You have killed my father. Prepare to die."

At first, I am inclined to agree... However, you know that this will tie into the plot eventually. This is something that would happen in the GC world, and Annie is often a "victim" of circumstance. I believe that this is as much a part of the plot as anything else. Not only that... Robot. Fighting a giant bullbot. It's awesome. There will be an explanation for this eventually, we're just gonna have to wait for it, like any other comic. I think it's awesome.
