He is?Permalink when it happens. Interesting how the dialogue in some strips seems to accurately predict what people are saying about the characters and the comics. Isn't there a thread about how Reynardine could be Annie's Dad? Since we all know that's probably not the case, what are the other options again?

The GC page on graphicsmash isn't loading for me right now, so I can't comment on the comic. The rest of the site is loading fine, so it should clear up sometime (hopefully soon).

Well, isn't that interesting. Obviously someone had similar thoughts to us on the last comic

that last line he used.... I think i heard that one from Battle Angel Alita volume 1. Also used by a body stealer. Also a similar idea from another body stealer in Lucifer.

And it could very well all derive from this: The awakened, the enlightened man says: I am body entirely, and nothing beside; and soul is only a word for something in the body ... Your little intelligence, my brother, which you call 'spirit', is also an instrument of your body, a little instrument and toy of your great intelligence. You say 'I' and you are proud of this word. But ggreater than this ... is your body ... [The self] lives in your body, he is your body. -Despisers of the Body, Nietzsche. Oh my Gog! Reynardine is Annie's father's brother's nephew's cousin's former philosophy teacher!

Just how big is the basement?
It must be pretty huge for it to use lighting like the ones on the last panel.

So toy body means playfull mind, hence the sarcasm and humour parts of his personality coming to the front, possibly why he also played with Kat's toys way back when. Wolf body brings out the more noble parts of his personality. excellent

Just how big is the basement? I wonder more why they haven't installed electricity down there, in an environment like GK with robots everywhere.

'Cause it's more fun this way. ...Although it does make me wonder a)where the Court's power plant is and b) how much money they have at their disposal. I imagine the answer to b) is "a lot."

Just for fuel to run it (unless it's a wind farm or hydro lake, in which case they'd be subject to power outages after large droughts or periods of no wind)

Except the creator has said that the body/former-mind doesn't influence Reynardine's personality.
Being stuffed with cotton doesn't make him cuddly and friendly either.

what I think is that when Rey is an a playfull, mockery, etc mood, he looks like something... and when he goes deep, or mature or wahetever, he looks in a different way.
Same thing with people... you will see them and feel them differently depending how they act... in Rey's case, it might also affect the way his body morphs

I don't think it's Rey's feelings that morph his body. I think that Rey considers the full wolf more dignified, and therefore uses it In cases where dignity is called for. As usual with dignity, a little more effort is required to hold the dignified form. I see Rey's alternating bodies as purely symbolic device, rather than a physical trait to be explained technically.
