Okay AluK, I finally have to ask. What exactly is vector coloring? How is it different from any other method of coloring?
Nice job, by the way!

Well, vector coloring is coloring with vectors. OK, that doesn't help much.
I re-draw everything with vectors, on a program like CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator. It differs on the base that I can resize/upscale the image ten thousand times without any quality loss. I could call it vector drawing, but I don't feel like 'cause, well, I didn't draw anything. Tom did.
This kind of coloring has a unique feel to it, too. As you can see it has little to almost no lines, at all.

Unless you add lines, a 'la cel shading. Which is really easy, in general, you can just make a slightly scaled up copy of everything, put it in the correct layer, and BAM perfect cel shading.
Nice thing about Vector graphics is that you can do them with relative ease without a tablet. (As compared to freehand Bitmap drawings.) Not to say that I don't continue to lust after a tablet...
Aluk- looking great so far. What software are you using?

I'm using Adobe Illustrator. I'm not that used to it, yet, as I used CorelDraw for most of my life. AI is, undoubtedly, way better to do kind of job. CorelDraw is a more user-friendly entry-level software, but it lacks some features (as the opacity mask I used for the eye).
I'm lusting after a tablet, too.

Woot, nice dress... I can see that on Annie mroe than Kat though. Still, if we ever see Kat in this I want those boots.
Coloring is pretty good.. I tried my hand at Copics on a photocopy of a sketch you'll be seeing here soon but it came out horrible, so I'm jsut going to scan it and do it the good old Adobe Illustrator way.
(Yay for vector art)

I think that Annie would go for a longer skirt - the same length as the dress that she was wearing in Chapter Eleven.

Nice boots!
Annie would go for a longer skirt, Kat would go for spaghetti straps or ties, I think.

This thread alone makes the whole forum worth it (of course, the rest of the forum is great too). Wonderful stuff.

Are these going to get into the guest art section, or is this the guest art section now?

It's a bit weird that the character I can identify with the most is actually dead.

Worked out really nice, too. I really like webcomics that incorporate animation, but it has to be done in such a way that it has a stronger effect than still images, and isn't just animated for the sake of it. That is an example of a way it can be done well.
This came to mind (has really nothing to do with this thread, also has the word f*** in it):http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2002/07/26
