So... Coyote hates marbles and is about to put up a fuss?
It's against the rules to bring human objects into the forest?
I'm guessing one of those two, probably the latter.

People, the big news here is that his powers don't just affect the current time-frame, but also can affect the past at least a week back. That's pretty major, as far as serendipitous powers go.

Adventure games must seem a lot like everyday life to Smitty.

I like he just accepts that anything unusual he's carrying has a purpose Aye. He used to have such things predicted and cared for before he notices the need... And those poor souls at the Gunner's Crag delude themselves into thinking he does (or as much as can possibly) perceive the world like a typical human being. Ehhehehehehe.

I like the casual way with which he just accepts that stuff finds its way to him and it's going to be helpfull down the line.
I think playing adventure games with him would leave you somewhat unsatisfied.
Fact: The marble is wonderfull.
Possibility: The chickcharney will want to show everyone how lucky it was to get it back.
Prediction: Everyone realizes they need one.
Conclusion: Rampage through the forrest to find the amazing Eyebrow Boy.

Huh, the chickcharney is a lot smaller than I thought. I assumed that he was the size of a grown-up person.
Anyway, now I expect that he's going to be trying to repay the favour in a manner that doesn't agree with Andrew's powers, resulting in wacky hijinks. Everything valuable, delicious or beautiful that the Forest has to offer, swooping at Andrew and Annie in a giant tidal wave, perhaps?

I now want to read a chapter were Andrew reveals all the content of his pockets and by the end of it all of them have come to use in some unexpected way.

Pretty sure the next thing that's going to happen is, he tells his friends, and then a bunch of chickcharneys are going to burst from the bushes wanting marbles.

Is it just me, or does Smitty's face look a little frozen on the last panel? As if he saw something, but it's still taking time to process it and do something about that smile?

Okay wikipedia says helping a chickcharney brings good luck but Andrew's already lucky so maybe creates a kind of luck overload which sends useful items flying towards him at dangerous speeds. Almost partially called it!

They're meant to be the size of island burrowing owls, I believe and those lil critters aren't too big. Travel-sized for your convenience! I support this theory. Mmmmaaaaybe a stampede of Chickcharneys? *crosses fingers* Pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease!

Mmmmaaaaybe a stampede of Chickcharneys? What's the collective noun for chickcharneys anyway? Marble? I kind of want to use it like the plural for fish or sheep which is just fish and sheep. Look! A whole parliament of Chickcharney! There are two Chickcharney on the back porch, shall we offer them some tea and digestives? Oh, no, the neighbor has been eaten by his litter of Chickcharney!

Smitty must get some weird looks for carrying around random junk. He's probably got a spare button he's been keeping hold of for several years now.

I say this based on the fact that a group of crows is a muder and it's a cooler word than flock. I think americonedream had it right, a parliament of chickcharnies, since chickcharnies are based upon a species of flightless owl, and parliament is the name for a group of owls. Although I agree, it doesn't seem to fit the mythical creature as well as the real owls. (maybe the chickcharney we just saw is going to try and claim the marble on the parliament's expenses account, and Smit and Annie will be chased by a horde of forest accountants looking for a receipt.)[/SemiTopicalParliamentJoke]

Parliament is one of the words used for rooks. I doubt there's a traditional collective noun for owls since they don't normally appear in groups.

Yep, my guess is that word gets out about how helpful Andrew is, in combination with his tendency to put things in order leading to every creature in the forest who needs something finding him at once.
