So Kat knows? I'm wondering when WE will hear who send the letter. Knowing Tom it could take a really long time... And we still don't know what's on the shirt (I guess arc-reactor).

I think it was Annie that sent the letter, thanks to someone bringing it up in the last thread and the way she's acting now.

I'm feeling a bit more confident in my theory. It's from a robot, but Kat thinks it's from Paz I think it was Annie that sent the letter, thanks to someone bringing it up in the last thread and the way she's acting now. Possibly that too. Annie's time in the forest has taught here convoluted plans are a great idea

This is one of those pages that is annoying to encounter in a single page update track, but will read great when the chapter's finished. Looking forward to hearing some speculation from Kat (and finding out what happened in the forest)!

Thank you Kat. Annie needs to stop being ADHD and finish her story. Blackmail is entirely appropriate.

The text clearly suggests it is from a robot, but since Annie seems to be continuing the story now I think there's more room for twists.

What's the bet that the two stories, Kat's letter and the forest adventures are going to be heavily entwined?

woah, the forum turned oh-em-gee into "gosh golly" wonder what will happen to el-oh-el? LAUGHING ON LINE I knew Tom borderline abuses the language filter to cut down on netspeak, which is his right and probably makes the tone in this forum a little more polite than elsewhere, but changing oh em gee seems a bit harsh. and i personally prefer "laughing out loud" over "laughing on line" On a more topical note: This chapter is going to drive me to the edge of insanity. I wanna know what happened in the forest, I also wanna know what's with the letter. gnaargh. well played Tom, well played

What's the bet that the two stories, Kat's letter and the forest adventures are going to be heavily entwined? It wouldn't surprise me. ;D And the gosh golly filter amuses me.

Kat is blushing a lot. Do you think she still would be if she thought the letter was from a robot? I mean, she seems to be taking it very seriously.
I personally love LAUGHING ON LINE, it's hilarious!

Something Annie said caught my attention: Are they in this room right now?! What's with the plural form?

What's with the plural form? It's sometimes used as a gender-neutral stand-in for a singular pronoun. Annie is keeping all bets open, I guess. And now back to the chase-story. I guess this will be a chapter with a jumpcut after another. I hope that by the end we actually get to both see the chasers and at least some of the contents of that letter.

Over on The Butt Zone someone was suggesting that Annie is living through Kat on this, thus why she enjoys it so much
It would seem that the word filter turns / c o / into The Butt Zone....
I'd suggest not going there, Gunnerkrigg discussions turn into rather nasty ship fests

The Butt Zone. Wow, I don't want to even think about what that...... *furious blush*
ANYWAY.
I really want to know what Annie did with her hair. It looks like an elegantly messy way to keep your hair back. Any ideas?

I'm gonna guess that Kat thinks it's from Robot. Hence the "don't get your hopes up"

Ok, I've changed my mind.
It can't be from a robot. If it was they would have used the word "Angel" and both Kat and Annie would have known it was from a robot straight away.
Kudos to the person who pointed it out in the comments

It's sometimes used as a gender-neutral stand-in for a singular pronoun. Annie is keeping all bets open, I guess. She probably knows about the thing with Paz. That sort of thing gets around in the rumor mill even if Kat didn't straight up tell her afterwards. Or maybe Kat really was staring at Parley back when Rey brought it up. She sure changed the subject fast, Annie might have put two and two together. At this point I bet a lot of people at the Court would be surprised if Kat isn't into girls.

Alternatively, sometimes people do use "they" when they don't know who the person is even if they assume a particular gender. However I do think that Annie was being intentionally ambiguous. Annie and Tom are of a like (troll) mind! LAUGHING ON LINE

It could be from several robots. It seems like Kat is embarrassed but also a little disappointed.

Kudos to the person who pointed it out in the comments Hm, that's actually a good point. But that kind of language would be expected in a love letter from others as well. Maybe that's why Kat has figured it out already, even though Annie hasn't. (The robots haven't benn calling her "angel" all the time, so the association wouldn't be as stong in her mind.)

What's the bet that the two stories, Kat's letter and the forest adventures are going to be heavily entwined? I like that idea, but I'd rather it be subtle, until the end. A little hidden Plot Parallel.
