Does this mean she'll still be going to school at the court and living there?

Does this mean she'll still be going to school at the court and living there? Guess so, she still has school to finish. But vacations and weekends will be in the forest. Don't understand why she last her room.

She and Kat decided to room together so that Ray could have his own space.

...Don't understand why she last her room. There may be other reasons by the court, but imagine an adult male sharing the sleeping/ dressing quarters with a young lady. Hardly Appropriate.. Why no problem before?- well, among other things she's growing up. Other technical observation: They must have run out of rooms - when she first arrived at the court there was one extra bed which he took. Also, this room is HUGE - not surprising since the court itself is mostly empty (another unanswered question). Social observation - would there have been an extra room, she might have wanted to stay by Kat, after all, she's right next to her (and was assigned that way - interestingly enough).

I kind of expected a chapter final page today, but looks like there's still more stuff coming up!

I kind of expected a chapter final page today, but looks like there's still more stuff coming up! Yeah, I was surprised to not see a little symbol down at the corner, too. Guessin' 1-3 more pages. I read suggested somewhere that now would be a perfect time for Paz to pop in. Also, how is Kat not blinded by that light. I have to wear sunglasses most places just because lights everywhere drive me batty, but an unshielded light globe at eye level? I would die, for reals.

Does this mean she'll still be going to school at the court and living there? I think that Tom saw Annie as staying in the Court, and never expected any of his readers to think that she'd have to move into the forest once Coyote appointed her its medium. (Kind of the way he never expected his readers to think that somebody other than Anthony was Annie's father.)

Nope, this is too good to be true for long. Especially with this over cheesey "Hi-5z" stuff, I predict the next page will be Lindsey or someone else saying "nope, we're kicking you out, Annie." What else could happen in the next couple pages?!

Why must there always be a crisis around every corner? Why can't we enjoy some "normal" time? Life's ordinary adventure is quite satisfying - we might get to know the characters more for themselves, rather than through the manipulation of others.

I get the feeling that we might see a couple of pages with Jones, the Headmaster or the other adults.
I wonder if they had to toss a coin on who gets which bed. ;D (Top bunk for me, always! Don't you other people even dare look at it.)

I predict that on Wednesday there will be a surprise twist ending. Something shocking. Something that really changes things. Oh, and it will be the last page of this book, too.

Or something plain weird, if it's end-of-the-chapter cliffhanger page. Why must there always be a crisis around every corner? It's just that we expect an unexpected twist all the time by now. Which is when Tom makes a poker face and goes on without twists one page, two, three... and then twists it in a direction even more unexpected than we did expect. OH GOD SOMEBODY RESTART HIM YANK THE PULL CORD HARDER! The pull cord is yanked out of the half-molten puddle. Now what?

Or something plain weird, if it's end-of-the-chapter cliffhanger page. We discover the real Court, the power behind the Headmaster... Cats! Doggy-5s will not be tolerated. Oddly, it's in the charter. Just past sub-section 6b: Neutering.

Specifically, the ones about girls getting haircuts.

Yay for slice of life chapters. (Not that I mind the more exciting ones either.) Anyway, I'm assuming the chapter will end on Friday, since chapters usually does, but who knows (besides Tom).

Given the oddness of the announcement of the Court medium, and the feel-good turn the story has taken since then, I'm expecting something big to drop on the last page of the chapter. (Edit: Note that the last page of this chapter may well be the last page of this book!)
Headmaster visiting the dorms in person?

Don't you other people even dare look at it.) Fine by me; I've always like the bottom bunk because it's darker and technically the space underneath is mine too. And I can clip spare sheets to the outside edge to act as curtains. OH and if it's the kind where the top mattress is supported by bars, I can wedge hangers in there to air-dry my laundry (For years, I was one of eight people, six dogs, and as many cats in a three-bedroom rambler house. Sneaky ways of getting extra space is my specialty.)

But then you WAKE UP from a nightmare or something and bang your head against the bottom of the upper bunk. (I only had that happen once, but that more than enough.)
