I'm glad Kat's happy for Annie. Yay, happy friendship time. AND the room is looking awesome, check out that lighting, dang! And look, Kat still has her Hell Boy and possibly Mulder back there in panel three. Can't get rid of those fellas!

Three things I'm really loving about this page: • Reynardine's wolf-smirk • The infamous action figures in panel 3 • The way Kat's hair glows in the last panel I <3 U

Really hope we now still get chapters bout Kat's, Shadow's and Robot's parts of the story. It's obvious Shadow could come with Annie is she wanted it but the (friend)shipping between Robot and Shadow is to big.

Wait, is Annie going to live in the forest? I assumed not, seeing as she's only an honorary citizenship and apparently moving in with Kat as they talk , but the "Jones said she'd come with me" thing makes it seem otherwise. Gah, I'm reading too much into this, aren't I?

Gah, I'm reading too much into this, aren't I? I'm assuming that Jones is basically offering to be a bodyguard for Annie whenever she goes into the forest. Angry Wolf-Tree vs. The Stone? I'm betting on The Stone. On the other hand, it could be... awkward for the Forest Medium to live in the court. Will Annie have to be present to greet Smitty whenever he goes into the forest like Ysengrin used to do? Yet she lives in the Court... so... how will she get there before Smitty?

Seems pretty straightforward to me. It'd be like having the ambassador of a country staying in the same place as the ambassador for another. Annie stays at the Court, but represents the forest when either side meets up. Jones offers protection as a neutral party anytime Annie goes into the forest for matters that aren't strictly related to mediation.

Am glad Kat didn't get left out of the loop.
I think we might have time in this chapter for a reprise by the 'adults'.
What might Prof. Oswald think of that?

Can't think of much to say about this page, but the last panel is very cute.

Haha, Kat is so great, sticking up for her friend like that. But to be honest, Smitty seems to be a better fit as the Court medium and Annie seems to fit better as the forest medium. And Annie has a point - this way, we get to keep in touch with Smitty and Parley.

I have a feeling the next panel will be Kat moving into Annie's room, and the girls discussing their respective days. Thought so. Annie now looks younger again than in the previous. Huh. Hair and clothes make all the difference.

Thought so. Ditto. I expect that the chapter will end or the next one will begin with Annie and Kat talking about their day and Kat voicing a lot of the questions and concerns that we here on the forum have made. I expect that Kat will ask about the future living arrangements and how Annie will divide her time between the Court and Forest, next. I really love the lighting effect on this page. The feel of the room is completely different than before. Also, Renard on panel 2 has a fun look to him. The line of his snout also looks like a smug smirk.

It's weird that the headmaster would be fuming. Either his acting skills are even better than I thought, or we're completely misreading this? Either way I'm having a hard time picturing that.

I want to hear how Kat's day went, now. Last we saw her, she was a bit taken aback at being worshiped by the robots. I hope she interrogated them thoroughly and learned something useful.

He got outmaneuvered by Coyote. He intended to get Annie out of Court-Forest politics, instead she's in it and working for the other guy.

Annie now looks younger again than in the previous. Huh. She's at those in-between ages for girls. She can look older or younger. Man, this is the same school year as when she came back from the summer in the forest, huh? (the living quarters). A lot has happened since chapter 32.

I am a little unclear; As forest medium doesn't she have to stay in the forest? I was imagining some sort of jungle commute...

As far as Forest mediums go these days, if Ysengrin is any indication, she is probably expected to grab Coyote's tooth and start to stab everyone in the face.

I am a little unclear; As forest medium doesn't she have to stay in the forest? I was imagining some sort of jungle commute... She's an "honorary" citizen of the forest. If she lived there, she'd be a real citizen I would think. Besidesl, She's a human (mostly) - the divide between humans and the forest is breaking down, but it's still there. (Note Jeanne and the Anan waters) I think many of you were just 'suming.

Love the way it looks though.

I love how badly the headmaster's plan backfired. His meddling actually ended up making things better for everyone except himself.
Everything went better than expected for Annie. Smitty is totally fine with this situation. Parley gets to be Smitt's bodyguard and eventually court protector. But, for the headmaster, everything is going horribly horribly wrong.
You'd actually think he would be happy about this, though. I mean, both mediums are human. You would think that would make him happy, even if he sees Annie as a loose cannon. And both mediums are friends with each other. Come on, how is that not good for the court?
I also like how Annie's idea of showmanship is setting herself on fire.
