Let's hope that light-weightedness lets him land safely :s

That must have been the most fun practice ever. Probably involved a lot of Whee!-ing. Now, not so much.

Throwing Shadow 2 like that, Tom's comment, it's pretty ridiculous! And sad... .
I'm also surprised at how early Tom posted this up! Wow!

I'm also surprised at how early Tom posted this up! Wow! Updates are always at the same time, give or take 5 minutes. They get put online automatically. On the other hand, comments are manually approved.

Robot has some pretty sick moves. I wonder where he picked those up.

Max,
I see how close you are to 1000 comments (as of now, 997) and my OCD is kickin' in. My friend YOU ARE SO CLOSE.
...That is all.

I'm also surprised at how early Tom posted this up! Wow! He obviously did that because he wanted the update to go through before the world ended. Oh wait, we're still here...

Shadow: "Wait! Robot! I'm 3D now! I can help!! I've been learning Kung-Fu from Jones!"

Shadow: "Wait! Robot! I'm 3D now! I can help!! I've been learning Kung-Fu from Jones!" Hehe! Maybe Shadow should run and get Jones (or alternatively, Annie and Kat), so they can do some combo Kung-Fu techniques...

Shadow has evolved from a sentient shadow into a sentient frisbee!

You shouldn't throw your friend away like that, Robot.

Shadow is saying "wait" - can shadow fight back too? ( Even Coyote's tooth can't cut him) and/or will shadow have to reveal himself to more people and possible to the scrutiny of the court - by going for help?

Maybe Shadow should run and get Jones (or alternatively, Annie and Kat), so they can do some combo Kung-Fu techniques... Should be Annie, then. Kat doesn't know Kung-Fu; and while Jones probably knows every martial art ever developed, she'd be too used to being invulnerable to teach how to dodge effectively.

I'm going to happily bring up the option you guys, obviously, left out on purpose due to its sheer horribleness. And it's not tricking Boxbot to join and muck up the chase - the shadowboy isn't that tricky. No need to reveal himself to more people. No... his classmates, given an excuse to jump in, will do splendidly. ;D

I wish Robot hadn't said that, they might go after Shadow now or later on. I'm glad that Robot has planned for this, he really is different from the other robots.

Is it just me or is Robot's head narrower than it used to be?

I just noticed something... Look at the way the S-models are drawn in the last panel. Are they just jumping, or do they actually have some sort of limited flight capability? Either way, suddenly my mind is drawn to The Matrix... (Thankfully not literally! )

The bottom roof is lower, they're hopping down. Aeroballisctic jump, probably - not as good as for grasshoppers and flying squirrels, but this still slows down the fall and gives more control.

We've always known he was an odd duck, but what makes him different from the other robots? Why is he such a standout? What could have possibly happened to make him so.. him?

Who's discounting Kat?? First off, Kat future Robo angel thingy v.s. robots... she can also probably go all Iron man, all over the place, all up and down their collective metallic asses.

"what makes him different from the other robots?" Long ago Robot questioned the devotion to Jeanne. The robot elders took him aside and explained "Diego's great secret", that their love of Jeanne actually makes her stronger so she is unstoppable in defending Gunnerkrigg Court. He refused to join the elders and their plot. So they paperclipped him to silence him.
Now Robot works to replace Jeanne with Kat in the hearts of robots.

( Even Coyote's tooth can't cut him) and/or will shadow have to reveal himself to more people and possible to the scrutiny of the court - by going for help? Rereading that scene, it sort of looks like Coyote's tooth scooped Shadow up deliberately. It seems like the sort of thing Coyote himself would do for a laugh... So, was it a coincidence, or does the tooth think for itself, or as an extension of Coyote? Or, as you guessed, is the tooth unable to directly harm Shadow?
