"The Great Secret". Well, that's ominous. I wonder whose; the Court's or Coyotes?

At first I thought it was a really easy 'where is waldo' game.

Promises, promises. How do we not know it's about Jones's strudel recipe?

You know, considering how many secrets are already floating around this story, the idea of a great secret makes me somewhat... apprehensive.

Promises, promises. How do we not know it's about Jones's strudel recipe? Call me crazy, but I get the feeling Jones doesn't eat. Ever.

Well, this sounds promising. Was kind of hoping for sort of a break chapter, but certainly wouldn't turn down more major developments.

I will be disappointed if this chapter ends up REVEALING NOTHING.

The Great Secret: Lavos is underneath Gunnerkrigg Court, Jones is secretly the Guru of Time, and Anthony is building the Mammon Machine.

I'm guessing we'll get some major hints to the nature of this "great secret", but what exactly it is won't be revealed.
...either that or the secret isn't really all that great after all.

It would be interesting to learn even something basic about how Coyote (and possibly the other Old People if any) fit into the Gunnerverse. There are so many versions of Coyote in the myths.

Hmm, could that be a dragon skull we're seeing?
And yes please Coyote's secret! He's bound to have the most interesting secrets, imagine the biggest one.

More bones in the closet... Wonderful... Also: Is that a Coyote's son's skull?

Would you expect something called "The Great Secret" to be worth just one chapter? And in Gunnerkrigg Court, at that? It's not a promise, it's a fair warning. You know, considering how many secrets are already floating around this story, the idea of a great secret makes me somewhat... apprehensive. That, too. It's a bit like a postscriptum after Chapter 38 "...and now you're mostly prepared to something really wild". ;D How do we not know it's about Jones's strudel recipe? Discovering the very fact "Jones makes strudels" could do to Annie's mind more or less what Kat suffered during the discussion of magic tattoos. I will be disappointed if this chapter ends up REVEALING NOTHING. Oh, it's very likely to give answers, all right...

I think that may be a coyote's skull, yes. I wonder if that is a reference to when we saw a coyote skull in a flashback Annie had of her mother and father (can't find the page right now).

The twist is that Coyote has been dead the whole time and now Annie will guide him to the afterlife.
Also, could we get the chapter title in the thread title?

You know, when I saw the movie I thought it was spelled C-Tech Astronomy, because I don't think it was ever spelled out before the Scrabble scene.

I thought it was Seatech until scrabble...but I was also worse at watching movies when I was younger. I wonder if that really is the first time we see it spelled.
