So, was that Annie's hand on Kats head? Probably, its what i thought anyway. If so, its funny that Annie's hands are clapsed before kat fully awakes. Maybe Kat is not the only one afraid to show her feelings. Hmmm, my shipper sense is tingling.........or I had to many tacos.

Here is something interesting: Kat is not wearing the headband. Either Gamma magically destroyed it through the Ether, or she only dreamed about wearing it.

Ha, Annie speaks for us all. As long as you set a proper thread name... No need to worry, Kat. As long as you keep in mind that she's rather irritable around some sunjects. So, was that Annie's hand on Kats head? More likely, her own hand. Because we saw that Gamma got her hands full already. ;D But jokes aside, the hand is right, looks the same as her left, and if you'll try to use your biceps as a pillow while half-sitting face down, you'll end up in this pose. And if that was Annie's hand, she would keep it on Kats head, because why not.

Oh yeah baby answers they are a coming, sure they are coming from some one who probably has no clue what happened. But cliff notes might be nice

Psshaw. Come Annie, I thought you knew how this comic works.
I think the hand is just Kat's own hand. I sometimes do that when I am trying to sleep.
I'm also not so sure this was all a nightmare either. For all we know she took a nap after Zimmy and Gamma left. The white fade-out/in was just a very stylized scene transition.

But yeah, this would be a fairly sweet parallel to Kat's aborted hair stroke. I love how she clasped her hands like, "yes, I have been keeping these entirely to myself. As you can see they are folded. Any head touching you felt was probably just a pigeon or something." It could be that Annie has picked up on Kat's recent struggles and doesn't want to make her uncomfortable, but I know which explanation I prefer.

Unless kat can sleep with a badly dislocated shoulder. There are two possible explanations- either it is Zimmy etherically departing- and that does not look like Zimmy's hands, which are horrible- or it's Annie. In which case... Why wouldn't she leave it there?

I find annie's behavior highly suspicious.
Almost like somebody TRESPASSED IN HER SOUL AND MESSED AROUND or something.
Or maybe like DESTROYED A FACET OF HER PERSONALITY BY MAKING HER CRACK while doing so.
You know.
Whatever.

Zimmy didn't destroy the mask, she just insulted Annie's dad, at which point the mask exploded, as it did the last time someone dared do that. If anyone was trespassing or soul destroying, it was Anthony.

I don't think it was all a dream, as far as I know Kat doesn't know what a nobody looks like, so I doubt she dreamed the whole Zimmy-epic-bad-dad-punch, the headband is gone, Annie could just be confused about why she is in a hospital bed, she might only remember randomly passing out or going to bed and not waking up for classes. She also could have possibly seen Zimmy poking around in her mind. As a side note, I can feel the shipper's 'shipper sense', I am scared.

This was the first thing that I thought of. Glad to see someone else is on the same page. Wow, so it was all Kat's dream after all. You have me beat this time, wild speculators, but I'll be back for more. Oh, yeah, one last thing. Mr. Mrs. Mcbibble, if you would kindly edit your OP with a page number in brackets, we would all be much obliged, thank you.

There are no females on the internet. That is a silly statement.

There are no females on the internet. That is a silly statement. Rule 16 in the internet handbook, standard issue for all Millennials and Gen-Xers leaving the maternity ward. If you were not issued one at birth, you are older than 30, in which case newspapers are still being printed for your comfort and convenience. Thank you, and have a nice day.

That second to last panel is the cutest panel of Annie I've ever seen. Also, her teeth in the last panel instantly reminded me of Coyote. I guess we really don't see anyone else's teeth represented as adjacent rectangular blocks.

But jokes aside, the hand is right, looks the same as her left, and if you'll try to use your biceps as a pillow while half-sitting face down, you'll end up in this pose. And if that was Annie's hand, she would keep it on Kats head, because why not. That's almost certainly not Kat's hand for the simple reason of the fourth panel. If that was Kat's right hand that falls off her head when she wakes up, it would be lying next to her on the bed. Instead it seems that she has it to her side, since it's completely absent from the fourth panel. As for why Annie wouldn't keep it there, it's kind of uncomfortable for both parties keeping your hand on the head of a person who's waking up, and most likely squirms right and left as she struggles back to the world of the living. And in hindsight it might have been slightly embarrasing for Annie to do that, anyway. Or she just slightly shook Kat's head to get her to wake up. You don't need shipping reasons to acknowledge that as Annie's hand. But yeah, Annie, I don't think that there's a soul on the forums who doesn't share your sentiments. Although with our luck, Wednesday will show us Shadow, Robot and Rey waking up, and Friday the entrance of classmates coming to wish Annie speedy recovery, and we still won't get to find out what's going on until next week.

I think this must have been both Annie and Kat's dream since Zimmy saw things that Kat shouldn't know about. We still don't know what caused all this

;D ;D ;D Awwww one of favorite pages. Kat looks so cute on panel 4.
Why is everyone asking who's hand it is? I think it's safe to assume its Annie's hand stroking Kat's hair. She's never had a difficult time showing her physical affection. 959
also She has referred to her by pet names on a couple of occasions. "Dearest", is one that pops into my head directly. 946
I just noticed, the cover art for Chapter 35 is the flower on Kat's so called headband of straightness +5. Which is the chapter that she started wearing it I believe.

It was a dream within a dream within a coma, except their mind made it all real.

Okay, Kat is cool and all here, but I want to focus back on Annie for a moment. Is it just me, or is Annie really chipper for someone waking up from a coma? It's almost like she's hiding something. I mean, normally, Annie operates on a reserved<----->angry spectrum, but here she appears to be neither. That, to me, indicates that something funny is going on.
