Did Annie never actually leave the forest or something? THIS IS EXITING.

Finally, Zimmy in the etherium, as opposed to "in her own head". Can't say I'm not excited to see what will happen Also, Fourth Treatise. And I thought the forest tendrils were completely metaphorical. I wonder, whether this is something Annie got herself into, or is Coyote plotting something (I mean, something that has something to do with the current situation).

I believe Tom said that flashbacks would happen at some point... right? I didn't just imagine that hopefully?

Is not exiting, is entering. Finally, Zimmy in the etherium, as opposed to "in her own head". Can't say I'm not excited to see what will happen So far looks more like she's in Annie's head instead of her own. What is going on??? I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK!!! Why??? Because if you knew what to think, you'd already think it, which applies recursively and iteratively, right? That's a simple one, we get weirder riddles here. I think Annie's etheric cut would show. It isn't there. Thus, she's definitely not in ether-sight. So, either it's Zimmy still seeing real Annie (most likely), that is her entry point, or it's in, uh, "Annieburg" already. Oh, wait. What's with Renard? If he "passed out" with her and not later with their "strange friends", maybe she seeks contact with his real body? Even if not, maybe she dreams herself as a lifeless mythic fox under some tree? And maybe Coyote's containment froze her along with everything else?

This is the most confusing chapter yet, even more so than Dobranoc, Gamma. I literally have absolutely no idea what is going on right now, and i'm not even going to try to guess what is happening or what is going to happen.
In short: WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN!

Your link didn't work, for some reason. Here: Fourth TreatiseLooks like we get some more information, if not clarification. :)

I keep thinking this is all happening in Kat's head. If that is the real Kat. No matter what, after the reveal, this will be a chapter to reread with new eyes.

Zimmy's hair looks longer than usual to me, but given the passage of time the explanation is probably as simple as not having had a haircut in a while (ever).

We still don't know WTF was that scar doing on Zimmy. Antimony's hair, on the other hand, seems to have gotten somewhat longish compared to the panel above, and judging by the previous chapter, they should end just below the elbow. Might be just a matter of the point of view... might be not Your link didn't work, for some reason. Thanks, fixed it.Sure hope so

Was Zimmy's skin always that gray? I wonder if it's product of never being in sunlight or just shenanigans.

Am I the only one who thinks that the last panel is honestly one of the most gorgeous panels in the comic?

I wonder if Annie somehow got "lost" ( being disconnected from her body) and somehow latched to Zimmy, either by being trapped in her mind or thinking she can help?

I keep thinking this is all happening in Kat's head. If that is the real Kat. No matter what, after the reveal, this will be a chapter to reread with new eyes. I’m still not sure what to think, echoing the confusion of multiple other posters here (quoted just one). It almost makes sense to hypothesize that the hospital room exists just as we’re seeing it, with the thinking-aloud pigeon a byproduct of Zimmy’s powers. But then why are Robot and Renard like statues? To my knowledge we haven’t seen Zimmy able to freeze people, certainly not in the comic’s real world. If this is Kat’s dream, it feels odd to me that Zimmy would psychically connect to Annie as we see in the current page: a peek into the forest with the lengthening hair that usually signifies Annie’s etheric self. If this is Annie’s dream, the acknowledgement of Kat’s anxiety vis-à-vis her femininity feels odd as well. I suppose it’s possible the two talked about it off-panel. So, um, I guess I have no idea! Except that I should probably stop thinking so hard about it.

So... Now will be some action in Forest? That's what we're all hoping... Perhaps Zimmy will see something she's not supposed to see. I would be lying if i said Zimmy v. Coyote wasn't on my wishlist.
