Blue sucked Antimony into her drama? Nifty.

A good question is what Annie means. I suspect she's on it now, and will give Red her own piece of mind, only in some more vivid form. Blue sucked Antimony into her drama? Nifty. I thought for a moment - oh dear, did Blue make Annie image and mask real Annie with this worm? ..What on earth is with the reactions in the last two panels? Annie's cry broke their usual game?

..What on earth is with the reactions in the last two panels? I think it's because Annie said Red's name ;D Names obviously aren't something fairies do, after all, Red called Blue whasserface back in the Red Returns chapter. Shock, horror, Red has been named!

So this is the part where she goes "Red? My name is Alma!"

My theory: it's all a joke on Red, and Annie and Blue are the lead actors.

I think Annie's mad at Red for ruining Blue's game. She probably knows from her "forest vacation" how important it is for fairies to play along with things like this. If I'm right, Red's being incredibly socially improper here. Also it would just be classic vintage "Tom" if Red gets named "Red" in this chapter.

Oh god Annie's face in the lowerleft panel. So. Much. Dawww. Agreed. I don't know why, but that panel's even more adorable than the sad Gol-Shogeg.

Of course. How silly of me not to realise it earlier. Annie saw through the charade since the beginning and was just playing along.

Also, those green clouds. I think it's because Annie said Red's name ;D Names obviously aren't something fairies do, after all, Red called Blue whasserface back in the Red Returns chapter. Shock, horror, Red has been named! Quite possible, really. So this is the part where she goes "Red? My name is Alma!" Given her own approach to nicknaming, she's really not in any position to complain. ;D Exactly. Dat wurm's is red and Annie's is white-purple... -ish. Also it would just be classic vintage "Tom" if Red gets named "Red" in this chapter. Well, yeah. And already was proposed back then, if my memory doesn't cheat on me.

I think Anne is more naive than I am.. and that says a lot. :s I am not at all convinced Anne has caught on to the fact this is all a farce. Btw I love how everything has grown softer in this page, the colours, the contours of things. Our artist/ writer kinda rocks

Awwww) Annie is so naive... or so tricky? Also: Annie's crying could even awaken the dead ;D

From what Red says, I'm more inclined to believe that whasserface is manipulating people's emotions and memories.

Is it possible that Annie's played make-believe games like this in the forest? She might know to how to play-a-long if that's the case.

Exactly. Dat wurm's is red and Annie's is white-purple... -ish. I looked back. Annie's aura has been like that since this whole thing started. It hasn't changed. Dunno about the worm. Looks like it didn't even have an aura until just now.

I'm tempted to think that's Blue talking in that third-last panel, via Annie. Red is clearly being a good friend by spoiling the whole thing, heh.

Okay my vote is that everyone is just playing along. And Red is being a party pooper. Annie probably played games similar to this in the forest. seeing as forest folk all seem pretty similar.
Also Annie in panel one So Cute.

If Annie hadn't already caught on, the mournful demon-worm would probably have given the game away. But I think she already knew, else she'd be fighting the demon-worm in question, not wailing about it. Annie is moe action-oriented than melodramatic.

Looks like it didn't even have an aura until just now. Tough to say because the auras aren't consistent from panel to panel or page to page. But the worm has one now and it's size and behavior have changed, and that means there's the possibility of the old switcheroo. Leaving aside the question of why Antimony might be going along with this, if Antimony is still Antimony then I guess the game is ending because she's getting genuinely upset. In that case the worm is just play-acting out grieving because of Blue's self-involvement. If Antimony is not Antimony then probably she's an illusion of Blue's. In that case Blue is upset because Red wasn't sympathetic to her "death" and the worm is Antimony; it is standing there just looking around like she probably would. My best guess is the latter case but I can't rule out the former.

Seems to me Blue and Annie are in on it together. If Blue made the Gol-Shogeg up, then how did Annie know what it was before she saw it? Blue gave Annie the chance to show some faerie-like imagination, then ran with her idea. Annie's cry that Red is being "cruel" could either be about Red seemingly not caring that Blue is "dead", with Annie still playing along, or Annie is no longer in the game and is upset that Red wasn't playing along. Either way I think the consequent reactions are to Annie giving Red an actual name rather than a description (although Red is still a description I guess, but you know what I mean).

I'm inclined to believe Red here. I think Blue made up the gol-shogeg and Annie went along with it. There isn't even an article for Gol-Shogeg on wikipedia:
