Mean ol red He certainly seems like a nice guy otherwise. Annie has seen worse before, so he isn't that ugly. Any guesses on what kind of fish? Bass maybe? He does have a pretty big mouth.

"Dat fish guy"? Do they not have names, or does Red just not care to learn them?
Is the story title coming up soon?

Maybe red just doesn't care to learn them. Anyways, I'm wondering about the being able to return to her body as well.

I get the feeling that names and other certain aspects of human interaction are completely meaningless to elves.

If you can change your ethereal appearance at will, this lends evidence to suggest that the ethereal form is the "how you see yourself" form.

Will Anne be able to return to her body? Feeling a bit worried.... Yeah...so I'm hoping that Annie didn't just pass her test....

Wow, they're all rude as hell. I thought it was just limited to Red and the other fairy, but wow.
Also, Annie's face at the fish guy's face = gold.

Also, Red looks like a Super Saiyajin in the last panel.

Separating her from her body was surprisingly easy.

"Dat fish guy"? Do they not have names, or does Red just not care to learn them? Is the story title coming up soon? She didn't know the name of her blue-haired friend either. So either fairies care not about names (or at least names of people they're not related to (see City Face)), or Red is pretty anti-social. Maybe not all fairies have names, and Red just assumed that the fish guy has no name either. Or he really doesn't have a name, I dunno.

I'm hoping they teach her how to learn at school without being there, it'd seriously help her do better and not copy Kat's work...

I feel like a lot of you are forgetting, or don't know, how mischievous and rude fairies abd pixies tend to be in a lot of fey-people lore. They just don't have the same social norms, being magical and all, I guess. I love it.

Yaay! So, no ceremonies at all. I am expecting a scene where the Foleys suggesting them cut the bond to her body Half of a Gunnercookie goes to bedinsis! Will Anne be able to return to her body? Feeling a bit worried.... "It looked like a good idea at the time!" I instead wonder if Antimony being torn out of her blinker means the permanent connection is broken. Not that it can't be re-established, of course. "Dat fish guy"? Do they not have names, or does Red just not care to learn them? We know from City Face and bonuses that fairies have names, so it got to be the latter... but this time Red's right - to Annie she mentioned only "a fish guy". If you can change your ethereal appearance at will, this lends evidence to suggest that the ethereal form is the "how you see yourself" form. When they don't concentrate.

I love this chapter so much. And the fact that Red can go Super Saiyan is just awesome.
And Annie's expression in the 6th panel is so amazing.
Let's indeed hope she will be able to return to her body, even though that might take some effort.

What's wrong with using a blinker stone?
I am not too worried about Antimony getting back to reality, though at this moment the possibility of her never returning is rather alarming. Presumably someone will help her get back. That someone might even be Red, since Antimony did help get her hair to stick up again. Paying her dues and all that.

Yeah, I agree, I think she'll be fine. And wasn't the tether to her body, not the stone? The stone just helps facilitate that, I thought. In addition, she said herself she'd be good to go without it soon. Maybe this is soon.

Well, it doesn't look like there's so sort of immediate physical whiplash to being pulled out of her body - she's spinning through the air, but her body's expression doesn't change and all the tension looked like it was on the ethereal side. So far, so good!
Annie's taking the criticism much better than she used to. I was wondering if her time in the forest meant she'd be used to, er, the blunter way the fairies and elves interacted.
Also, panel four makes me think of Annie as abeachball at a concert, being tossing throughout the crowd. (Where as on the last page, it was more like crowd-surfing). Fey sure are touchy-feely.

Separating her from her body was surprisingly easy. Don't you just love the faries' approach for that? No elaborate training. No super secret technique. No excruciating meditation. Let's just yank her! ;D Also: The Fish guy! Aah! It's the Innsmouth Look!

Oh, my goodness. Fairies are jerks!
Time to go join the hardcore ether-hating scientist crowd and declare war on the forest!

Hahahaha oh Fish Guy. You are my hero. Tryin' to spruce it up for the ladies.
And man guys I know the fairies are all rude little buggers but I seriously don't think they'd have yanked Annie's hair-tether if it was dangerous in any way. Presumably these guys have been doing etheric projection shenanigans for quite awhile and know their stuff.

"Yaay!" Red's still the worst of them though, poor fish guy.
Love Annie's expression in the first panel, and generally just how well she's taking all this.
