Love the panel with her girly things being thrown through the air.
You go, girl!

Blatant fanservice? In my Court? [Coyote picture] It's more likely than you think.

Daamn, the last panel kinda creeps me out Robot almost makes Shadow sound like he is gay A word that loses all meaning if one of the involved has no real concept of gender (Does he? I don't recall any mention of robot gender)

Can't wait for awesome new body for Robby! I'm pretty sure Kat is eager to try out some new ideas as well.

Sounds like Robot's not used to being without his friend, such sweetness.

He seems a little shellshocked. Can robots even be in shock? I mean I guess most robots don't start converting their fellows to the worship of a 14 year old girl either so maybe S13 is a special case. Maybe he broke his 'appropriate levels of emotional involvement' circuit back when he was a wee roboling and now he's susceptible to the crazies.

I don't recall any mention of robot gender) Robots in Gunnerkrig Court are quite capable of being infatuated, but so far it is unknown if this is gender-aware. Tom did joke that the desk clerk bot was flirting with Annie because she was a girl bot, but that isn't exactly sound basis for cannon.

I like how Kat is now only comfortable in 'manly' clothes when others are not around. It's like she is putting on a deliberately girly front because of what Paz said. She does look more at home in overalls though, so I don't think it will last.

Yeah, the words he chose in the last panel really bring back the creepy for me.
Worried about Shadow? Ok. Worried about Shadow because if something happens to him, you'll be lonely? A bit selfish, but it's a trying time, we'll let it slip and remember the accidentally-exposed character flaw. Worried about Shadow because if something happens to him, you'll be lonely, and Shadow wouldn't want that? That's an odd motivation to me.
Maybe it's a selfless robot thing. That he doesn't avoid loneliness for his own sake, but for the sake of Shadow, who would be unhappy if he knew that Robot was lonely...
Very intriguing.

Ah, so Kat finally gets to try out the new Robot body she's been working on! (I apologize for bringing in an old Boxbot thread image, but it seemed timely. I am terrible. ) I've never made something terrible on purpose. I feel... ashamed. I am sorry.

i read robot's line about shadow as more of a "he would worry about me being lonely more than he would worry about his own wellbeing. that's how good of a friend he is"
also yesss kat's back in her element

Was Parley's apology in panel 2 rejected? Or is Robot just that selfless that all he cares about is Shadow's well being? Seeing as Kat should easily be able to fix him, it is probably the latter.

To answer the question about gender, Tom answered a question recently on formspring that stated that Shadow 2 is male, and Robot identifies as male.

I love Robot and Shadow's friendship. But sometimes I can't help but feel a little creeped out by Robot. There's something ominous about him that unsettles me, ever since that one chapter where it seems like he was trying to get all the robots to see Kat as some goddess or something.

Why was he disassembled? did he try to kill someone? was he inciting the robots against the humans? what was S13's story.
