What point in the year is this? John and Margo are acting like they are just seeing each other for the first time since the previous year, but I kinda figured classes been going on for a bit. So wouldn't they have already met up?

So wouldn't they have already met up? I figure it might still be summer? That or John and Margo don't have the same classes so they don't see each other as often. Maybe John just got back from vacation a little later than the others, shares a dorm with one of the boys, and joined in on the fun when they told him about it. But I'm guessing this is just before classes started again, everyone has just gotten back to the dorms, and John and Margo were both on vacation.

So wouldn't they have already met up? I'm certain that classes haven't even started yet. Everyone was getting up to speed on the current situation with the robots and all, so it's safe to say that those two haven't seen each other since classes ended for break.

Haha, did not see that one coming.
I'm assuming that's the size of most male Merostoblahblahs. Which, apparently, can also speak naturally. And use punctuation.

All right, I had just assumed that classes would start up within a few days of students returning. Is this typical for British boarding schools?

Like Female and Male Anglerfish? Except Bud isn't parasitic obviously. Thats one of the more extreme cases of sexual dimorphism that I know of in nature. Maybe not the most extreme. Anyways, my reaction was O.o since I expected the male Merotomatazoans to be the same size. This guy looks like a normal Blue Crab that just happens to be able to talk. Although he's just saying haha! and woo! atm, which doesn't neccesarily imply that he can talk normally. Tom definetly knows how and when to pull the surprises on us. However, if this is the boys dorm, how the heck can a large sized crab keep an eye on them. Looks like someone could easily mistake him for fresh crab dinner.....

Seems like their escape plan involved approaching Bud and saying "Hey, Bud! Wanna go sneak out of the dorms with us?"

Classes have been going for a few weeks at this point. The kids were seen in their uniforms at the beginning of the chapter.

All right, I had just assumed that classes would start up within a few days of students returning. Is this typical for British boarding schools? It may be that their is a time period that they can return in, between Dorms opening, and term starting. They can return at their convenience between the two times. I got the impression that Annie and Kat returned early in that period, and spent the robot time waiting for term to begin.

A very odd thought. We know that a portion of Lindsey's brain functions in another dimension. Maybe Bud and Lindsey are about the same size, but most of Bud's mass is in this other dimension.

And yet all I can think is "that bar looks like the one in The Shining". Haha, I thought the same ;D I wonder what kind of gender roles these merostomatazons have. Bud seems to be more childish/playful than Lindsey (though, perhaps I should be careful judging that based on his appearance in a single panel). Is that typical for male and female, or is it just Bud and Lindsey?

Ahhahahaha. I certainly didn't expect thiiiiis! I'm assuming that's the size of most male Merostoblahblahs. Which, apparently, can also speak naturally. And use punctuation. There is some phylumism going down in this piece! A very odd thought. We know that a portion of Lindsey's brain functions in another dimension. And... maybe they are able to communicate with each other, say, right now? ;D

So wouldn't they have already met up? Maybe they are just being teen couple-y. You know, when you date someone and you haven't seen them for a couple of days or so and it feels "like AGES!!"

I see Janet and Willy are still trying to hide their relationship. Does anybody not already know about them in-universe? Seems like one of those things where it'd be obvious to everybody.
