My first thought: What is he doing? Being Robot Jesus?
Anyways, end of chapter and we finally see the give and take.

Looks like Robot is starting makes problems to Kat and Court...
P.S.: I like this page, it's very philosophical. Because it's created a look on us from both sides of reality and religions.

Maybe the court robots are about to get religion? Robot only seems a few steps away from being a preacher/apostole/messiah/enlightened bhudda. He is certainly dressed for the part, sortof.
Anyways, anybody else notice the worried look on Shadows face? Seems a bit ominous to me.

This has gone way past a simple crush now. This is full-blown idol-worship. But what are Robot's reasons? Robots don't do anything that's not in their programming, so what part of Robot's programming is compelling him to find a worship-figure?

Quite the flock, let's just hope the robots don't follow the example of human religions.

Remember, S13 was originally taken apart for causing trouble. Maybe it wasn't all accidental?

I seriously don't like the feeling I'm getting from Robot.
And apparently Shadow2 agrees with me.

Maybe he has a goal; one that requires social capital to achieve.

That just might be a remnant of Diego's original programming, as all robots are at least based on his designs. Then again, idunnolol.

Quite the flock, let's just hope the robots follow the example of human religions. Let's hope they follow the example of peaceful human religions! The Court could do without any crusades or jihads.

The interesting thing is that unlike with human religions, he is overtly correct.

Hey guys, remember when my second post on this forum was in the speculation thread about how Gunnerkrigg robots are generic Abrahamic believers surrogates?

In Moria, in Khazad-dum, a shadow lies upon his tomb.
In this case, though, it's the shadow that's the good guy.
The robots have largely been comic relief, and whatever they do, however much trouble it may end up causing at an inopportune time, I can't see them being, you know, malicious about it.

Well to be fair Kat does literally hold the power of life and death over them, so a bit of idol worship is acceptable. Having Robot turn into the Messiah of Kat is however more than a little strange. I agree with whoever pointed out that he was intentionally deactivated by the other robots- dude's not all there mentally.
Edit: On the other hand, at least now if anyone ever tries to attack Kat within sight of any of the Court robots odds are they are going to get one HELL of a surprise.

Shadow2 and I basically have the same face about these goings on. Me too. Yes. This thing definitely is spiraling out of control, and it seems more reasonable now that S13 was dismantled at the time. Maybe there's really something wrong with his head, or... his programming has something that other robots don't have. The little blue part on his CPU, perhaps. Maybe the incident at the tomb when they put him into S1 has awakened it, and it's... a Charisma Core?
