And here I go again draggin' a bucket of black paint all over the forums... Maybe it's not such a good idea to turn the old robots back on. Maybe some things are better to be left forgotten.

*pokes the forums* The forums and site are kind of laggy tonight for some wierd reason. Anyways, maybe she is a spark, she has a bit of the mad scientist atmosphere going. max: I don't see how the post statement of yours is relevant. Edit: NM, I thought you were talking about Robot, just me being tired I guess. Maybe Diego was a Spark in his own way.

The forums have slowed down a lot over the past few months. Not quite sure why.

It hasn't been very noticeable for me, it was just within the last hour that it was having alot of problems. Although it seems to be fine now.
Anyways, Robot is certainly taking his role as Kats guardian/protector pretty seriously

Oh, I thought you were talking about the lack of posting. It feels like we used to have a lot more comments by this point.

I think it's probably the subject matter of the comic right now. Jack, Rey and her fighting, and Annie's big reveal/cause of her mother's death was a lot more controversial and conversation-provoking than the robots.
Man, if they wake up the old robots, I wonder if they'll be able to tell them what happened with the whole Jeanne thing.

Well... yes and no. Yes, turning the old robots back on will almost surely dredge up a lot of past trauma that isn't going to be comfortable for Kat or the robots. But IMHO it's something that needs to happen sooner or later.

I like the foreground focus in panel five. And I really hope we get to see creepybot rumble to life yet in this chapter.
And robot's "let her work" sent a shiver down my spine for some reason. Seems like he foresaw this moment.

Do the old robots still work? I kinda got the impression their play was a one-time deal. Plus robot kinda destroyed the monsterbot.

One, GO KAT! After that whole arbitrary scepticism of the magic of the robots it's nice to see her actually working on it now she's found the bridge. Definitely getting some worrying vibes from this development but it might allow some progress on the Jeanne arc and give the characters more to work with there...

I'm honestly very pumped to see where this is going.

I wonder if Kat is going to get a promotion from angel in the eyes of the robots sometime soon.

Also: Did you notice, that not all robots are glad to this news? I'm wondering, WHY? I was wondering the same thing. The robots have a certain reverence of Jeanne's tomb that parallels religious reverence. Perhaps they don't want Kat poking around in the same way many people don't like it when archeologists excavate and poke around tombs and graves. Perhaps they consider it sacriledge. Also they may be afraid, RobotYoung is still down there and currently "defeated" by S1, modern robots hate him and i think fear him, maybe they are afraid that Kat will re-animate him again.

Could be, yea, however, both Annie and Reynard both saw what happened, so they could stop her as well. It could also be uncertianity of just what Kat is going to do. Perhaps some of them retain bad memories. Like aurelia said, it could be that theres different levels of ancestor revering. Robot didn't seem to complain when Kat took some of them apart, so things are much more complex. If it wasn't already, its becoming clear that the robots have a high level of individual personalities and will, to the point where they could become a person. Which brings up a can of worms (or is Pandoras Box more appropriate here?) of ethics problems, etc.

I'm also interested in where this is going. I do wonder why this is so important that it's being shown to us like this vice a series of hints and bits across several character-driven story arcs, save that it might be very important that Annie be there for it.

Robot is scaring me... He never used to be this intense. Yea, the tone of his voice sounds authoritarian to me. Like he is taking control of the situation. He could just be taking the situation very seriously. Really, in my mind, he almost comes off like a 20's, 30's mobster in that last panel.
